I can't believe how.many had to loop to get Riki in there line-up. 1 week doesn't override how gud his fantasy prospects looked last year and he delivered last night. Played both Niu and Riki.

    Gotta crow about something !

10/541 with CCleary to come. Looks good!

But with Avo, Lam, Leinu, Laurie lining up I’ll be chuffed with 900.

Don’t put yourself through it. He was stretching cramps at one point, but definitely did a heart muscle. As you said, he threw his toys out of the pram and gave up. It was the only time Croft did much and the team actually looked better for a few minutes - although it could have been TPJ’s strong carries for the same 5 minutes laying a platform.

Not sold on Croft, not sure Deaden is ready and apart from 2015 Milf hasn’t really fired. Hope Kev can work it out, was ugly viewing last night. Especially after a half decent performance in round 1.

Am I right to stick with Host to Fui or should get Davey instead?

    Pappy very popular as 2nd

Then Ponga/Latrell/RTS/Brimson/Nofo/random POD for 3rd. Is Brimson definitely going to be a better option than any of the others? Maybe if he gets a decent price discount at some point he'l be the best value. But I don't think he'll be top 3 on points.

With limited cash cows so far, I think value is going to be more important than total points since it will be very difficult to get an "ideal" 17. So if I can get Brimson as a 45-50 guy priced at 30-35 I'll absolutely take it. If that means riding his price back up before grabbing someone like Ponga to end the season, then I'll make it work

EDIT: Worst case he ends up as a loopable 18th man

I’m glad some of you think Brimson can finish averaging north of 40. I don’t see it but you guys are better at this than I

Without GKing, I reckon Ponga is about 3-4 points better than Brimson. Problem with Brimson is he was coming off the Lisfranc and has a dodgy back, so was probably always a wait and see.

Lots of merit in grabbing a dirt cheap Brimson if he starts to look good again and riding him back up, but we'll also have Turbo to consider at a similar price. Rd 4-5 could be interesting. Learn if Ponga is GKing, see how Turbo looks and if Manly look functional again, and see if Brimson finds some form. RTS will also eventually go bang behind that big Warriors pack.

    Gotta love injury prone guns.

I dont think he has any other option.

There was a rumour last week that Hetherington was going to be upgraded to top 30.. hes a bit of a hybrid hooker/lock. Not sure if he will actually crack the team tho

When haas and lodge return we dont really need a four forward bench

I'm tempted to turn Roberts into Leniu and just play Avo this week. Niu can be a starting centre from next week.

If Roberts is in doubt and injured after one fucking game, then he's not worth keeping.

There was 32 errors in the game last night.

By comparison the earlier knights game had 12 and Thursday's game in the pouring rain had 19

So it was hard for either team to get much momentum going. Mitch Rein was the only player to make 40 tackles from either team (previous games this round had 11 players do this total across both games)

I'd say that is close to a floor for an 80 minute Turpin, which isn't too bad.

Lone Scout tweeted this last night

Milford not looking like a great trade-in for Rd 2 but the stats suggest it could be an exception: Titans v Broncos had the fewest kick metres of any game in 2021 (Milford still had the most in the match) and Milford had zero attacking stats - something he only did once in 2020.
(And yes if you're wondering, I did buy Milford this week and am trying to find ways to make me feel better about it)

Thanks for making me feel better about that trade LS.

Career fullback average is 42 and includes low scores of 3(42 minutes), 16(54 minutes), 20(84 minutes), 24(80 minutes), 29(80 minutes) and 20(80 minutes)

Will have some high scores to average it out
