Surely you’d take alvaros 54 over liddles up hill battle against the roosters?

Really enjoyed the dragons cows game last night, which came as a big surprise.

As a starting Winger he has literally scored under 20 points on 5 occasions.
By comparison he has scored over 32 on 4 occasions (one was a 33 and one was a 34) - I guess it depends on your risk appetite

I expected Alvaro to get more minutes (and points) than Leniu, not necessarily more than Vaughan.

Its a week for big NPRs

People who kept Croker probably didn't play him, and a bunch of other bench fodder has gone well this week.
Some people even playing Riki out of their 17 (I admire your EDG depth if you can do this)

Yeah Alvaro and Merrin played more mins than Vaughan and Lawrie. As much as Griffin seems to want to build a world class side from 2017, I still don’t think that happens every week. Alvaro still worth the $$$ but I think 30-35 mins probably more normal.

It's not like McInnes was replaced by an 80 minute hooker from the Broncos to use up those available minutes.

Or that the Panthers had two experienced middles leave...

Gotcha. I brought in Jensen instead (in hindsight not sure why I paid $50k more for basically the same player). Alvaro likely to come in next week.

Panthers had a 58 minute average middle arrive to replace lower minute mids.

Without the loss of Api this week, we are seeing that May is also in competition for MID minutes, the plan was always to play an 80 minute hooker. Expecting Leniu gets 20-30 minutes each week, unless disaster strikes like last week.

Last year McInnes was an 80 minute lock, this year he isn't, leaving lots of minutes available.

    L**p question:

Does Townsend outscore Stefano by 23?

    I'm leaning to Stefano + 23

Is Lam to Townsend a stupid trade? I'm thinking that Chad will outscore Lam by roughly 10-15 points over the next 6 or 7 weeks (until SJ comes back), plus should make over $100k

I’ve pondered a similar trade this week but it just sounds like a disaster in the making haha

With a poor result Captaining Fogarty and no Fifita or Cleary I'm well off the pace this week. 618/12c with Toups, Brooks, Teddy, Liddle, and Laurie to come. I barely see myself breaking 800 unless Brooks has a monster.

Eisenhuth is garbage. The minutes he played for a wooden spoon contender have no impact on his minutes with a premiership contender. Leniu has already jumped him in pecking order, as shown by being first middle forward interchange this week

Last year McInnes was an 80 minute lock, this year he isn't, leaving lots of minutes available.

Eisenhuth may have averaged 58 minutes last year, but that was under circumstances where he was starting Lock in 9/14 games.
He isn't going to have that role at the Panthers (short of Yeo going down). This is evidenced by his 34 minute average from 2 games so far.

Leniu is averaging 33 minutes by comparison, and as many people have mentioned, already offers more in defence and attack - is young and likely to improve across the season - with a starting prop in front of him renowned for low minutes and even as a starting prop barely averages over 30 MPG.

All I'm saying it that Leniu is a very reasonable pick ahead of the other options - he may be a slow burn, but he will make money and probably has the best JS of any of the options. It's completely plausible that Alvaro might not be in the 17 in two weeks time... harder to see that being the case with Leniu.

Hmm I think Stefano would probably just edge Townsend there

    Stefano 25-30
    Townsend probably around 50

Steady on, I'm not sure we were at any point in contention for the wooden spoon (although agree Eisenhuth is pretty garbo)

I would normally agree. But he has an average in 19 games on the wing over 60 minutes of 28. Scored in the teens four times. Four times he's managed to score 32 or less even with a try. Only three times has he put up a score that would make the risk worthwhile. Taking the 32 also insures against injury or HIA. Think I'll take the 32.
