Yeah, definitely. I'll have my usual day tomorrow, full of podcast listening to see what the word on the streets is. A few Supercoach podcasts have a bit more info around injuries and expected return dates etc. and I know Matterson is a madly popular player in Supercoach, so I am sure he'll be well covered tomorrow. So I'll soak up all that info and make my call on the situation tomorrow afternoon.
My biggest worry is an undefined return date. A one or two weeks, which turns into three, then four, maybe five. Appreciate it's a different ballgame when it comes to concussions, but I'm really hoping for something definite, either way.
Just my two cents, but unless you've got sort of confirmation that Matterson had passed his protocols and was all set to come back next week (missing one game), and it seems unlikely you would get such a confirmation, I would 100% trade Matterson. Even with "regular injuries" a return date is never always guaranteed, remember Nathan Brown's two week ankle injury? This early in the season you need your guns firing and more importantly to be making cash. Last year I held Matterson, but it was later in the year, and at that stage he'd been concussion free for a long time. This time around he could be out longer, but even if he isn't, he's at a much higher risk of re-injury. It sucks, but I'd cut my losses there personally. Certainly I play more aggressive and usually run out of trades. Last year I sold Lolo on the basis it might be a two week injury and because he'd already made 50k and I got two guns for the price of one. Can't say I regret it all that much, just regret what I did with the cash, should have just got McInnes but that's another story.

Sean O'Sullivan judging by the tweet I saw, but we aren't far away from finding out for sure

It's disgusting and should be dealt with as strongly as possible by authorities, as the impact it has on the mental health of the player and kids watching it happen is almost immeasurable!! Saddens me to think blokes like that are associated with the game we all love

Also, anybody without Pap can wait a week while playing Penriff.
I don't have Cleary, so I'm interested to see how this game goes. Hopefully enough to stall his price rises lol
I think u need statistical breakdowns of matchups for players over a few seasons if u are taking h2h of certain teams into account. I never consider it, matchups don't mean anything. A well beaten team will still have guys doing there fantasy thing for 80 mins.

Can honestly be as disinteresting as he wants mate if he keeps scoring 55+ which is attainable at an 80 minute lock. RFM going down, a prop rotation worse than my u11s so Thompson likely goes there, so look to have position nailed down, only issue is origin, oh wait I reverted back 5 years again then haha
haha yeah, he didn't make origin.
I think he'll be playing close to 80 most weeks, add in the odd attacking stat and he'll avg 50-60 a week, DPP is nice. Beats Tino's 13 missed tackles.

Found an option of Lodge + BSmith to Alvaro + Keary that I don't mind. Thoughts?

The guy has been blacklisted by betting agencies. While frankly there should be far more serious repercussions for this behaviour, I think that this is probably a punishment that will actually hurt.

I think that is a fantastic outcome. The betting agents are not to blame, but they have the levers to modify peoples behaviour.
I Work in an area that faces an uphill battle on changing behaviours and getting cultural acceptance for unpopular outcomes to deliver positive change, this sort of approach is the key to success.

Yeah like it myself. If Schuster isn’t named I’m looking at

Yep never again for me, learnt that a while ago. To risky and here it is again in 2021.

Can't be serious. A certain breed could only put the words together and send it.

If you gave me a few years and a research team of crack Canberrans, I could imagine a more Public Service sentence.
Probably.

Very aggressive. Haven't heard any grumblings about him at all. He plays with full heart. Just needs more guidance in his role as a half. Gonna be a big loss having him out
