    You'd jump on Haas straight up and wouldn't want to wait a week to see if Kevvie cuts his minutes? Nothing he has done so far suggests to me he would, but at the same time broncos forwards always seem so gassed so the rotation would be the first thing I'd address and that would include not leaving Haas out there until he becomes a liability.

    Just a thought at this stage

    If Broncos somehow lose this week, they could honestly be 0-7 with Storm, Souths, Panthers & Eels coming up. You'd think that force a change in pre-season ideals

    Lodge hamstring also probably thrown a spanner in works

    I'm probably more tempted by Turpin straight to Young though

    I think you have to hold, got a few tougher games and/or games whose teams' strength is forwards coming up

    HOWEVER I am mighty tempted to do Turpin to Alvaro which would free up enough money for SST to Haas next week Razz

    You'd run Alvaro in your 17 mate?

    I thought the same mate, was getting frustrated with Alvaro making the money now, but Lodge coming back should make around the same cash long term anyway and hopefully from next week.

    Yeah it’s a very like for like trade, think the two probably finish around a similar price.
    I’m not desperate for a guy to plug into the 17 so no need to rush Lodge out for anyone.

    This feels like one of the more open and/or difficult weeks for me in terms of which route to take, who to bring in. Alot of choice that all seem justifiable.
    Avo, Brimson, Saab, Ogden, Lam, Bsmith could all potentially go, and the plethora of choices to bring in are all different types as in cows or well scoring Middies.
    So tempted by Hunt and RJames, but they feel like candy store type irrational picks!

    With 103k itb, should I be prioritising Saab and Ogden out over anything else ?

    Yeah fair enough, I guess I thought the other way in that staring down 0-7 might cause them to finally look at why they often let in tries through the middle late in the halves when the forwards look like they just want a shower. But that's possibly giving them too much credit and instead the plan is "throw it to Payne" more.

    Yeah that's probably main problem with it even if Alvaro is safe 35-40 as I've already got faith in Hook keeping same team with Fuimaono

    Depends on the rest of your team. Do you have enough cows to fund you down the line? Big part of the reason I'm not going for Cleary is I'll fk myself this week if I do in the long run

    That's partly where the hesitation to just grab Cleary comes from. I probably have enough slow burn cows, but nobody with the earning potential of Alvaro if he maintains 40ish points a week. If Cleary is out this week it simplifies things because I'll have enough cash to trade for him next week and hold Turpin to see if he can fire.

    Looking at job security, baseline and potential who would you be chopping this week? I have good cover for MID and for HKR so its not influencing my decision much.

    Trade will be Tino OR Turpin --> Schuster

    Tino won't lose much cash if he scores a 30 but Turpin is going to score a try this week scooting from Dummy. Tino has the best JS and if he cuts out his MTs, he'll bang out 50+

    I'm flicking him cause I need to start generating cash. I am happy to hold Capewell over him as I am comfortable Capewell will have safer scores. Can flick him next week

    Yeah, if it's not 0-7 it's still almost certain to be 1-6 and that means Broncos Crisis Media Bonanza every day of the week.

    I'd definitely be wary of RJames. He did score alright last week and had a good score first week, but that was inflated by a try and LB which he won't get every week. Their forward pack has too much competition for me to be comfortable picking him

    Think I'm going long term this round

    Tino -> Schu
    Simo -> SOS / Alvaro ($190k / $147k itb)

    TU Alvaro
    TD SOS

    Context: I've been running no bank, and have Utoikamanu and Leniu as Mid cover

    Yeah this is true re there pack. If I want Hunt I should perhaps be coming first and hunt down Hunt later hey.

    The MT scared me a little and then i remembered he's playing us this week and whilst I sorta agree about not looking too much into matchups, can't help but wonder if he might be up for a few more MT facing the likes of Tapine, Young, Papa, James, Rapa etc.
    Figured it can't hurt to wait a week and see what the other stats look like even if he ends up with a lot of MT knowing it might be better in other weeks

    Average looks the goods for 319k and that includes all his MTs mate, low KM as well, big tackle numbers for a half whose obviously being targeting by edges. Will he be GK?
