Is it worth burning a second trade this week selling Avo for Schuster? Schuster on an edge seems like a much better scorer than Avo, and is only 10k more.

I am. 10k more now but will make plenty more cash then Averillo even if only starting for 3 weeks. In for me because a guaranteed quick cash cow.

Question. In draft does your 4 bench players automatically fill your starting 13 lineup if someone is out injured or do you need to nominate. It seem you can tick an "E" button next to your reserves but don't know what that means.

Yes need to select E to get bench score
Only 1 per position and might depend on league rules on how many allowed (not sure about that)

You need to spot the player not playing and make the change yourself. So if a HLF is dropped in final team lists you need to get another half in or you get a zero
