I for one never got sick of it last year.
Another 10 years in the dog-house will do me fine.
Until the Broncs have 'won' 3 spoons in a row I'll hate them.

Edit: Knights still holds that record. Laugh

Agree with you, both Mitchell and Ponga were terrible there, despite having talent. There are some examples where it has worked out as well though for a player moving from the backs into the halves, albeit in different circumstances to the Broncos - Wighton, Hughes & Mann probably the best examples.

They really will need Staggs getting his hands on the ball as much as possible when he returns, which ever position he plays in.

Munster is probably the highest profile current example.

Joey Manu played 6 for about ten minutes in Round One and looked like he was born to play there. (Very small sample size there)

Yeah, but even SI finished in the top 20 of the Mod's league last year. Its hardly an achievement

yeah the problem is we don't really have a dominant half at the moment. we have 3 guys (milford/dearden/croft) who are all gun shy, not strong enough leaders, and go missing too easily,.

Broncos should just recruit Luke Brooks and complete the set

    (please)

I love Staines efforts on the buzzer on Olam, Staines has had a quiet start to the year but i see small things in the opening three games that suggest brilliance.

In Brodie Croft's first few games in first grade he looked like an absolute natural. But then just couldn't deliver when he had to do it week after week.

Heaps of people with an ounce of talent can look good for a game or 2, especially when expectations aren't high

Leniu slow burning his way into a bigger role and seems to be getting 2 stints a game now. Pretty telling that he came back on for Leota with the game on the line
I’d like to agree with you on Leniu as a fellow owner, however I think the second stint was more due to Leota being gassed.
With only 3 minutes left it seems like it was more out of necessity than planned.

I will be the first to admit that I have observational bias (as we all do to some degree). If a player is in my team, I am typically looking for confirmation of them getting the role that I wanted for them, (and trading them out if they don't get it).

Equally if I haven't picked a player and I am seeing the reasons that I didn't pick them being played out, like low minutes as expected, then that is typically the bias that I will have.

Its really funny how trading a guy in / out makes such a huge difference in your perspective of them and how you are hoping they will play in a game.

    Fair play right here.
