Are you happy with your cash generation? That’s the main thing making me want to pull the trigger and get in a Schuster or Alvaro.

Having held Lodge a week already I’m keen to hold him, and everyone else feels like they get another week. Possible to be too patient?

This right here is why I'm using both my trades (Lam + Avo -> Schuster + Alvaro), plus in addition to the cash generation, I think Schuster and Alvaro are at worst going to get 35-40ppg while Avo and Lam will be lucky to get that high on good days

You mean like if say hypothetically you grabbed Radley cause you figured you'd be wanting him in the team and was happy enough with the balance of your squad starting with him outside the 17. Then you started to consider whether you could use that money better elsewhere after-all, only to think don't be silly he's not far away what's one more week, only for that one more week to become another (and who knows from there)...? nope, not possible.

Not really, but that will come. Pretty much every year my cash gen is slower than others because i am more conservative early on. Seems to work out ok usually.

StormTrooper96 wrote:Further on Tino it really is his missed tackles that are letting him down. I know you can say “oh but you can’t just make him make those tackles” but if we are basing this off stats (like most fantasy decisions are made) then we can use his 2020 stats (including Origin and Finals) for example we he only missed 1.6 tackles a game. If we substitute that into his first two rounds (1 missed tackle a game) then his scores change as per below:

    R1: score 41 + 12 (6 missed tackles) + 5 (extra tackles) – 2 (1 missed tackle) = 56
    R2: score 25 + 14 (7 missed tackles) + 6 (extra tackles) – 2 (1 missed tackle) = 43

His average would then be 49.5. He also has absolutely 0 attacking stats in the way of LB’s, Tries, LBA’s which we all know he is capable of and the exact reason we brought him. I am not saying don’t sell him, but don’t be surprised if he starts pushing 50-60 point games while guys like iPap, JJ, Sitili come back down to earth.

But expecting him to all of a sudden cut all missed tackles seems like a big ask and not really realistic.

I had to have an awkward conversation with my gf, someone screenshot and sent her what appeared to be me on Tinder under a different name. To her credit she never once thought it was actually me but turns out someone is out there cat fishing with some pretty bang average photos.

Yeah I get the impression that he has taken on the enforcer role at Titans. Going to rush up and try to make a hit and sometimes he will bounce off. Great for the team, bad for fantasy

I think the point is more that once he starts generating some solid attacking stats, his average will jump a lot. These 25 type games are likely his absolute floor.

Besides I don't expect him to continue being such a lunatic on the park, I think he's just excited to have his role and will likely tighten it up over the coming year. Not expecting a drastic drop in MTs, but that should be as bad as it gets.

    Confirmed injured this week.

Saves me doing a TU/TD about whether to loop home over Lenius 38!

Yes I know, and I have tried to say that in my spiel but really, if we look at all his games (origin and finals included) he has only ever missed more than 2 tackles 4 times in his 30 game career (6 in R7 last year, 3 in 70 minutes at lock last year in R13, and then 6 and 7 in rounds 1 and 2 respectively this year). So I have no clue what he has done to start the year but the missed tackles really do seem like a bit of an outlier.

Ah sorry sarcasm was very hard to note now I re-read it. Was suggesting everyone Rabbits brings in gets injured. Alvaro is NOT confirmed injured, but rather confirmed getting injured tonight.
