He was involved a lot. Very impressed

Well it is the back to the future seasonPookus McFly wrote:
I do agree in theory, but starting to think paying $415k for Jordan Rapana at the start of the season may have been the big brain play. Early days to make that call though.
Think I would pay for Momi tbf. Doesn't have to nab a try to score 40smultiple.scoregasms wrote:
Still of the opinion paying any sort of premiums for centres is madness. Lock in 2 under 400k, grab one for depth on the bench and ride it out until they get dropped/injured/suspended

Magic number of 13,400 means an average of 50 takes him to 670k, while average of 55 takes him to 737k. Am I doing that right?
His price is the main awkward point for me though... not many avenues to afford him. Going Turpin to Egan would be incredibly sideways but is the only player at that price point I have to get rid of. Otherwise would need to upgrade to Egan lol
Did so against a really tired defence though, first half he didn't have the same impact. Personally think I'll grab him for the 19 tackles and 200km. Good enough base and I wonder if with Niko he might be the dominant kicker. Still not entirely convinced but I think it's a cheap enough gamble and I play like trades are unlimitedRapture_NRL wrote:
He was really involved, caught some offloads for quick gains and TB. Will be a good cow
Pookus McFly wrote:I’m hoping Lam is only 3-4 weeks, in which case I will hold. Can definitely see him coming back and being the dominant half, gobbling up kick metres. Will be useful to loop Alvaro and Leniu as 17th man until then.
Feel bad for Moses and his HIA, but I was targeting him next week already (would have picked him up this week had I chosen Alvaro before Leniu in R2 to afford it). It’s the same feeling when you head into a store to buy something and the exact thing you came on for specifically is on special . Think I will grab SOS and Walker, then target Moses and Frizell as guns and start saving some trades.

I'd generally work off a MN of 13,000 now (which should be there or thereabouts). It tends to drop a little as the season progresses. So 650k for a 50 avg, 715k for 55

I'm in the same position and seriously considering just bringing Haas straight in. Fuck waiting to see what happens with his minutesJack Torrance wrote:If Tino and/or Ofa dont deliver then I'd need to ditch one soon. I need mids though and its slim pickings.
