I like the callout, this is where fantasy is exposed. 2 tries, 2 try assists but not turning into fantasy credit unless u smash a few tackle breaks. Not to mention I own both.

I dont own either so doesnt bother me. Just weird the difference

Same here LB, I have Brimson and do u keep for the year especially since he has lost so much coin or bring in someone on the rise?

I was inclined to keep. But like someone said 2 tries, 2 try assists and not even a 50 to show for it? It makes it hard to put a case together for holding.

If they aren’t breaking tackles then what use are they really?

What was reasoning behind starting with Brimson?

It reminds me of a Tommy Turbo game last year: 2 tries, 3 try assists, 2 line breaks (+ 2 assists) and 200MG - If Tedesco has a game with stats like that, it's a banner. Tommy managed a respectable 72, which is still good, but breaking the line twice and only registering a single TB is a bit bunk.

Still, that's also what makes players like Dane Laurie so much fun - I'm always looking at new players under the grounds of - how involved are they? do they "miss" tackles (e.g. even just dropping off them), are they tackle bots (do they grab cheap C defender tackle stats) are they the type to get cheap TBs etc
How good they are IRL provides more indication of their LT JS.

Has a 41 BE, so not much harm waiting a week.

Tbh the Lodge ship has probably sailed for me. Said yesterday I should of just held him, he will probably score better than Fui going forward. And Croker sitting in NPR's has outscored Fui in last two weeks. Evil or Very Mad

EDIT: actually I needed a mid for round 2 so crokers score couldn't have counted anyway.

I still think trading was the right decision to try to keep generating cash.. I would've gone for Davey.. then Davey to Schuster. So kinda burning trades, but would still do it.

Fui's making cash and low BE still.

Lodge might be a solid option for the 17 still. I'd just be kicking myself if I held or traded him back in and got injured again with the highish BE.

Honestly, I think the kid is a potential super-star.
As much for his grit with the highball and players bearing down on him, as for his agility on his feet and he looks like he's a great ball player too.

I'm just hoping the Tigers announce a contract extension and lock him down for the next 5 years (Fullback has been a dire position for us since Tedesco left).

I worry every time our shit defence cracks and Laurie's left in a one-on-one situation with someone 2 or 3 times his size Neutral

Been a tale of two opposite weeks for me. Important lesson learned is a really terrible week does more damage than an awesome week does good.

Last week every decision I made was the wrong one and I scored 798 and was back in the mid 30,000 rankings.

This week every thing I did worked out, right down to being forced to play Stefano in my 17. Only possible thing I could have done to make my score better was play Moylan over Niu, but it's completely insignificant.

Scored 1058 in my H2H team (1027 in my Overall team for the forum) and snuck into top 10,000.

Pap and Matterson my two outs. Absolutely awesome week but its amazing the impact last week will have on this season.

I started with him because of all of the FBs in that 650k (Guth, Edwards, RTS, Mitchell) region I thought he would hold his price to be turned into a slow starting Teddy or Ponga when he returns.

Secondly I thought he could possibly elevate in an improved team and could possibly be a possible keeper (it seems that was overly optimistic thinking).

    It hasn’t gone well
