Tough bringing a player in that you traded out lol tbh I like Opa more, but Roberts is gonna be my CTR for the seasonwolfking wrote:
Centre and set and forget don't go together haha.
Yeah, I don't know. I don't want to spend my bank on Peachey as I'm saving for Haas, but I'm warming to bringing Roberts back in. Might have been hasty shifting him and would be happy to run him all year if fit. 38 last week in mostly base stats and he looked good. Makes Niu the EMG next week when Bird is back and then Simo can go for Walker if he does good next week. Only costs 40K too.
You can’t mate, but Peachey minus injury going to be top 3 pretty much nailed on.wolfking wrote:

I don’t think Roberts is personally worth trading back in if you have already dumped him will be trading him back out end of season for upgrade
wolfking wrote:Being able to turn Avo into Peachey in a single trade and still have 69K left is a nice feeling though.......
I like Bird as a top end of year CTR option, not sure Roberts will be a top 5 option mind, serviceable 100%wolfking wrote:
I guess it all depends are people going to be able to upgrade their centres later on or is it a case of running what you have for the year and sucking it up. Bird will probably stay put and not sure who partners him.
As I said, I don't want to blow my bank on Peachey. Alternate was ditching Liddle or Milf for him as would use less funds. Hmmm...really stuck this week. Saying that, there's no reason Roberts couldn't stay all year if fit.

I got lucky picking Niu up for Simo last week as better coverage, worked out for this week nicely

Can I get a quick TU/DU (eventual intention of grabbing Cleary to replace Brooks):
TU: Trade Brooks > Schuster (temporary HLF)
TD: Hold Brooks

How much for a loan for a week?

the issue with just riding out this week without a centre, is that you are now down to two centres when Bird comes back (unless you're confident Averillo has been left out for injury and not form and gets back into the Bulldogs team). So you could face the same dilemma again in a week or two's time. I can see the argument for not wanting to play centre roulette - but I think the best way to stop that from happening is to have two decent scoring centres with good job security and one decent back-up.

That will cost ya Teddys half time score mate
