This chat happened today somewhere 20 pages back. General consensus was wighton with Freddy growing a brain and bringing in at least 1 specialist centre/latrell at the least in the centres
Thinking walker has used his lives up with stinking the place out every time he’s played
Moses too similar to Cleary

is Burton really going to take KM's off Cleary? I get he has a MASSIVE boot but seems a bit disruptive.

Does he only have one massive boot? Surely that impacts his running game.

Niukore not currently available at centre.
As starting 2nd rower he’s averaged 39 (68mins). I would normally expect someone moving from 2nd row to centre to have a fall in scoring. Seems some folk are expecting an uplift based on 2 game sample.
Prior to this year he has averaged 1 tackle bust per game. Last two games he’s got 6 per game. I doubt this is sustainable.
However, I haven’t watched any eels games this year.

If they get stuck in their own half or something he might get a kick. Should still be the Cleary show

Yeah I know, but there's a strong chance he gets DPP so you can slot him in the CTR spot. There was quite a bit of talk earlier on in the thread about him being a very good POD option (he had like 0.4% ownership start of this week). Watching him play, he makes busting tackles look really easy due to his size running into CTRs instead of forwards and he has a higher work rate than most CTRs (makes about 20 tackles and 120m). Plus, the Eels have a pretty easy road ahead for him to get more attacking stats.

Yeah, depends on the game situation. But can actually see him taking a panic kick when deep in attack.

For some reason I want to know whether he is also wearing a similarly sized sock under that boot.

If Freddy can get his head together - and the Lamas out of the back paddock - he'll run Cleary & Wighton.
The using 'champion players' out of position has always been NSW Achilles heel - Qld pick the best player in their position and tell then to run and tackle hard.
NSW play silly buggers and try to put all of the 'stars' from the Sydney teams in, I'd love to be a fly on the wall listening to some of the conversations when club bosses are pushing for their marquee player to get picked.

I was considering Niukore as a POD centre option, but while he doesn't have DPP I've already got too many Middles sitting in my team.
Going double cow this week. Looking to make coin and cease the addiction to trading for a couple of weeks.
Got enough ITB to go Turps > Haas next week.
My centres (Bird/Roberts/Niu) are still running so no need to trade them.

Club bosses and coaches hate when their players are picked. Time away from the team and not contributing to their season - plus injury riskThe Bludger wrote:
