Rd 4 trades

Hoy, Bird, Stefano, Averillo

We discussed a few different options:

- 1 or 2 trades: if 1 trade (Lam or Averillo out, then use the other as a possible loop this week - Lam is better as he plays later - and as upgrade candidate for next week)
- the other trade-out candidate mentioned was Liddle, which would allow us to stretch to Tohu for our second trade
- if 2 trades then, Lam and Averillo out allows us to get Walker + Twal/JPap/IPap/AFB/Sitili
- the other option is to do Lam and Averillo to Walker and SOS and build a warchest to try and get a gun in next week (Haas with a second trade, or someone like Moses or Matterson after a low score last week)

nup, we're 4 for 4. Banking trades hasn't been a popular option for this team in my experience to date

with the max trading so far think we should definitely save 1 this week. So just Lam out for me this week

If we are going to bank a trade, may as well keep Lam around, rather than Averillo

Better loop options this week, and more likely to be useful to us 4 weeks from now.

Given the current state of the poll, it looks like it may be a very even spread across those players for the second trade.

Whoever suggested trading in Harris, we can only afford him if we dump Liddle.

I don't think there is an ability to change your vote here, but we can't afford Harris with the current trade outs, so its a wasted vote.

I dont think banking trades is the be all end all at Round 3. Use this round as a cash generator.

Especially as the guys we are looking at trading aren't playing.

Lam is probably too expensive to hold for his length of injury, although with Keary out for the year his scoring might make him worth it when he plays again

Averillo has unknown return date to team and wasn't scoring that well anyway

Don't think we gain much by holding either of them

Trading Liddle would be a waste though IMO

Looks like 2 trades and double cow is pretty popular.

What looping option we running?

Loop option is not obvious to me. The players I'd consider looping for 17th man are Hoy, Walker, SOS, Liddle. But they all play at the same time or after Bird. My loop skillz are fairly basic tho

I wouldn't bother holding a non-player for a loop with the way the team is set up.

I'd trade out Lam & Averillo for SOS & Walker and play both of them, with Liddle, Alvaro, Niu and Stefano as my EMG.

But, of course, I'm not doing so well this year so just my silly opinion, for what it's worth.

We have Bird out for the week so may as well use him as a loop.
As was pointed out most obvious loop options play same time or after Bird so we could use it as a safety net for someone like Turpin to avoid a crap score.

yep, we could loop Turpin or if we wanted to start SOS or Walker, we could have a look at Schuster's score...
