Fair consensus around getting Mahoney this week as an upgrade at hooker.  The question seems to be whether to trade Moses, Fogarty, or Brailey out for him.  Trading Brailey out means playing Verrills at 17.  The only other (or additional) trade-in mentioned was DCE.

Aiming to keep bank to bring back Cleary next week (hopefully?).

Just posting in here the news about Moses being close to play this week (see interview with Brad Arthur on nrl.com).

Sorry dudes, forgot to select number of trades. I'm the sole trader that went for Suaalii to Mahoney. Hynes and Fog there to bring in Cleary next week if required. I know I'm alone, but I don't like the idea of holding out for Cleary, just in case he's not back.

3 of us voted Moses to Mahoney before that Arthur comment was made. I considered changing, but I feel like Moses' injury will drag out longer. Surely he shouldn't be rushed back with finals not far away.. DBrown's back injury was probably completely different, but Eels took their time with him a couple of seasons ago.

Eels have a pretty tough draw ahead though and their top 4 spot is in danger. Next week vs. Roosters is a pretty important game, so maybe Arthur's just talking shit because of that.

People vote early, when he was out "indefinitely". It was only yesterday they said he was almost named this week

Yeah not being able to react as quickly is probably a negative longterm, but plenty of those last minute moves can backfire too. Was it easytiger that posted this week about if he'd left his team alone last week he'd be way better off?

After the Arthur comment dropped, 5 more votes came in for Moses compared to 4 for Fogarty. I'd already voted Moses, but decided not to change, so I think Moses was going regardless.

I just looked at their draw and yeah it's tough. Could affect Moses anyway with lack of attacking opportunities. Titans have not a bad run.

Yeah 5 games vs. the 3 teams above and 2 nipping at their heels.

Raiders and Cowboys the others, but aren't exactly pushovers either and no chance of attacking stats with Raiders this week.

I voted when Moses was indefinite, NRL physio said 3-5 weeks likely.

I'd be inclined to go the other way now.

now 8-8 so going to go Fogarty out based on this thread…

I intially voted Moses out before the news so happy to change that to Fog. Get it done!
