Rd 14 trades

Team here. 5 trades and $476k so whatever trades we do this week will pretty much it - will look to hold the rest for injuries, players getting rested etc.

Things to think about include who will be our 16th, 17th, 18th man, and getting enough depth to cover positions.

I think with Fogarty being a solid 17th man, Sironen 18th we should look at coverage and the 16th man slot

We can afford Hammer and Randall to Fuimaono and Fifita/SJ

This gives the following bench

Carrigan, Taupau, Fifita/SJ, Fogarty

Young, Sironen, Fuimaono, Niu

Can run a loop each week to get two of Crichton, Fuimaono, Talau using Niu

Coverage:
Hooker - Hunt/Tevaga
FRF: Haas, Mofo, Taupau, Carrigan
2RF: Taumalolo, JTurbo, Tevaga, Carrigan, Fifita*, Young, Sironen, Fuimaono
HLF: Moses, Pearce, Fogarty, SJ*
CTR: Crichton, Talau, Fuimaono
WFB: Teddy, Ponga, Papy, Crichton, Talau

Fantastic depth for the run home and then hang on for dear life

Definitely some artistic license available for this week Jele

For example if trade outs end up being Young and Randall may as well spend the cash on McInnes since it won't be used late if Fuimaono is the unanimous cash down option

Pretty clear cut in the end - Young and Randall out for McInnes and Fuimaono. Only one person was prepared to trust in Aubo...

Niu is now our only red dot for looping. I guess there is a question whether its better to use him to loop at the centre position (between two of Talau, Fuimaono and Crichton) or for 17th/18th man (Fogarty and Sironen).

I think if Sironen scores more than Fogarty it won't be by much. Difference between Talau and Fui could be 40+ so centre is probably the safe loop

I think loop at CTR (Talau and one of the others) and Fog as 17th ahead of Siro.

I concur with MS and robelgordo, CTR loop is the way to go

cheers all. what’s the best way to construct the loop? Is it just a matter of picking one who we think will do best and looping the other two with Niu in the starting line-up?

I assume we want to start Crichton and loop the other two?

In which case Niu at CTR, Fui ahead of Talau in emergencies. Then if we don't like how Fui went Friday night can swap Talau to CTR. Someone might want to double check that tho.

With Fui and Crichton playing 1 after the other, I say start one of them with Niu.
With Fui startinf 2RF do we trust him as guarantted starter, or would we rather Crichton?

Either way put the other in 20 with Talau 21 and Hammer 19
Swap Hammer/Talau if we don't like the score we get
