Yeah If manly play as bad as we think cleary just gets more gk points and more attacking stats / assists and I think the warriors are going big against roosters this week tbh

@Ponga Yeo the Mann in regards to your centre chat. Im suprised at the Niu love, from someone who had him last year, im suprised about the set and forget talk, for someone who has a terrible pedigree, has already risen in price and plays like 2 bottom 8 sides until the bye. That ship has sailed imo

I am also looking for a centre this week and think Peach, Critter and Gagai are the best options (obviously in the more expensive range). I am going to take a punt on Critter playhing fullback for 4-6 weeks and flip him after he play the first bye.

WOuld love to wait a week but my centres were avo and marsters haha. Good luck!

    Won't matter if Cleary doesn't get 80 if he's already on 100 after 70. Will matter if he's on 50 after 70 though NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 26 - Centre of Discussion - Page 3 1f605

Are these bad trades if it means I miss the Schuster train for another week?

    Liddle > Walker
    Welch > Angus

Just feel like those two are gonna busy over the next wee while?

Fifita - Backs up his stomping last week?
Angus - Stands up to protect young Walker and provide the goods?
Cleary - Gold standard, but will he get 80 if they're 30 ahead of a sh!t manly?
Paps - Can he roll through the Broncs?

Thoughts? I'm leaning Angus or Cleary
I think Crichton being tied to Walker will reduce his tackle count, can't roam defending in the middle like he often does.

Aren’t you trading Liddle a bit before he has matured there?

    Fixed my tracker.

Yeah just looking at different options before tonight to see what can be done.

Will still probably lock in Reimis to Schuster but it feels boring

Roosters 2RFs don't so much roam the middle as defend the middle when their props go out to the edge from set to set. It's very structured and they've been playing that way for years, watch JWH or SST's positioning, every second defensive set you'd think they were back rows.

It might be that they rip that up and assign Walker a guard dog, but do we even know which side he's set to defend?

Getting Angus with 80 BE is horrific. I'm worried about another 50 odd score losing cash and he could be candidate for Haas upgrade next week. Can't imagine him being trade in target for anyone this week

This is interesting indeed. Hadn’t factored that in at all.

Doesn’t leave me many trade outs to get Schuster. Welch, Liddle the only real alternatives

Still stuck on who to trade for Egan out of Averillo or Milford? Any ideas which way I should go? Averillo to Egan leaves me 0k bank

The answer here is easy and it is the guy not playing NRL this week.

He’s at 21 so he doesn’t play unless needed so yeah it makes him easier to trade

Cleary will be roaring to get out there after a week off. I heard reports he could've played last weekend but one of those, if it was a finals he would've played type thing.

I think Manly put up a bit more of a fight this week and don't get absolutely spanked but Panthers still win comfortably and Cleary still breaks 70+ with ease.

Also not sure why people were so scared of Burton taking kick metres yesterday? Yes he is a half but he is played a chunk of junior footy in the centres as well. I don't think Ivan would be saying, yeah mate go play centre and you can take some kicks while you're there. He knows his son is the general, so I don't see Burton all of a sudden taking 50, 100, 150+ kick metres away from Nathan.

Opacic strikes me as someone going completely under the radar with all this CTR talk. Makes a bunch of tackles each game in base (19) and has scored mid 30s each game with one attacking stat (LBA) in a single game. The guy is a single try away from being "omg I should bring in Opacic next week" across the fantasy community. With that said, you've already got two CTRs in Bird/Roberts so replacing one of them with someone who may not score amazingly is kinda weird, something to remember.

Niu is cheap and covers WFB as well. I've had great peace of mind having him in my EMG this year. Papy being out last week was no biggy at all.

Peachy will also sit really nicely on your INT, freeing up some positional coverage in MID (for when you eventually wanna trade guys like Leniu, Alvaro, Fui etc).

    Momo is a solid choice.

Mono on the other hand is mostly available in teenagers and so you might have to wait until Suaalii is in the Roosters team to grab that one.
Opa is the one I wish I started over Roberts. Only went with Roberts because he had better history. Opa is a good shout if you need a cheapish option
