Yeah just looking at different options before tonight to see what can be done.

Will still probably lock in Reimis to Schuster but it feels boring

How do you update/add the team tracker to your profile; I can't work it out.

Surprised by this type of comment. If I had to make the choice right now it is Roberts every day. The only minor concern with Roberts is how often he gets injured.

Is it worth wasting two trades on centres to field 17? Or just run 16 this week with Bird back next week and Scott back in. 1-2.

I would probably trade out Lam and Averillo.

    My team if it helps.

I went with Bird and Roberts to start the year because they were cheap, had great job security, previous fantasy pedigree AND played the first bye round. Wouldn't swap either of them for one of these flash in the pan options

All hindsight IMO. Roberts is gradually growing into his role at the Tigers. I think the 38 we saw last week will be more of a regular than an outlier. Breaking tackles and running hard... Soon Deouihi will realise, oh shit I just gotta give this bloke the ball and then I'll look good. Historically, Roberts hasn't needed tries to be a big point scorer. His big points come from his tackle breaks, metres and other attacking stats.

Damien Cooked wrote:@Ponga Yeo the Mann in regards to your centre chat. Im suprised at the Niu love, from someone who had him last year, im suprised about the set and forget talk, for someone who has a terrible pedigree, has already risen in price and plays like 2 bottom 8 sides until the bye. That ship has sailed imo

I am also looking for a centre this week and think Peach, Critter and Gagai are the best options (obviously in the more expensive range). I am going to take a punt on Critter playhing fullback for 4-6 weeks and flip him after he play the first bye.

WOuld love to wait a week but my centres were avo and marsters haha. Good luck!
Niu has job security and is DPP. His scores aren't great, but if you're bringing him in it's a no fuss gap fill. Shouldn't really be wasting cash and trades on CTR so he's a good option

I'd play with 16 as well. Flip a coin between Scott and Averillo.

    Howdy Y'all,

Busy week. This may have been covered previously; Walker's obviously a great cash-down this week or next, but what are his prospects like once the rest of the Roosters halves get fit fit? Lam's gone (Rd9), but Drew Hutchison was the first man up last year, plus they have Keighran (Rd7). I know Robbo has said that Walker is ready for first grade, but would he be playing if only one of Lam/Keary got hurt? I know there's more chat about shifting Manu/Hutchison to cover Verrills (Rd 8-10), who was being covered by Lussick, who was covering for Friend (indefinite). Seems like there's a lot of moving parts in the near future - will he get enough games to justify a trade in? Plus its a bit hard to predict how he'll go (size an issue). The appeal is that he frees up a lot of cash, but wouldn't someone like SOS offer more security in terms of role, time, and points?

    The Mayor.

Thanks, I was leaning to only one trade, can’t stomach two.

Yeah, that's why I'm wondering just bring Roberts back in or spend on Peach. Tough one.

Roberts is carrying an injury and he's in a terrible side. I'm still happy with him, but he's given me a 15, DNP, 38. 3 round total of 53 v Opa total 104. I'm not bringing him in but Opa is looking very consistent for a CTR

Didn't we all learn how crap centres are from last year? Just buy whoever is the cheapest to get by. Any combination of Niu/Roberts/Bird/Opacic are fine. I don't even have cover with Avo out, I'll deal with it when Roberts breaks.

I'm holding Tino this week too. I really do see a monster score on the horizon (he could have had a Fifi score last week had a few more LBs/erros gone his way). Trying to look past the recent fantasy scores and remember why I brought him in the first place. A massive, strong, dynamic forward who loves running good lines at the edges is going to go BOOM at some stage. Yes he'll have those games in the 30s and 40s, but I'm trying to envision a season average in the 50s. Just gotta hope I've made the right call.

Yeah TBH it's the mins that are keeping me on the train ATM

This is why I think Niu is the best. Still cheap and can cover the backline. This is my 3rd week in a row running him

Just in the last few pages I'll sum up my thoughts:

    Averillo is a trade
If I was getting a centre it would be for a keeper playing round 13 - Peachey fits this bill with both Tino and DFifita and Mofo on origin duty, surely he plays 80 that week (at lock).
Don't piss around with cheap centres wasting trades except maybe Momo (plays round 13)
Niu whilst he has DPP is not going to be a reliable option with the draw.
