His minutes are a concern now not getting more than 30 minutes for the last 3 weeks and stalling his price rises. I was thinking last week against Manly would be as good a time as any for him to get a few more minutes. Maybe JFH/Yeo get a breather in a thrashing and let the benchies get more of a run but that didn’t eventuate

He does play Round 13 but it’s not worth holding him just for another 25-30 points that round. He won’t even make the starting side that week anyway. Team likely for that round would be

    Leota
    Koroisau
    JFH
    Martin
    Kikau
    Eisenhuth

I think it’s worth getting him out now, either to a keeper if you have the cash or to another cow money maker. Walker would be obvious if you didn’t get him last week. I’m looking to go Leniu to SOS who should make bulk cash until CHT is back (if he doesn’t get dropped in TLT)

Exact same play this week mate, he cost me last week and just isn't going to score like Alvaro / Uto in the EMG's. Leaving SOS even as an EMG for 5/6 weeks will make 100-150k.

Started the year as a $390k  starting MID. You bewdy, a gold mine (I thought).
Even kept him for 2 injury weeks.
    The prick kept losing money.
Finally sold him today for $358k and cut my loses !!

1 trade this week = Lodge to Tino. Never owned Tino but hoping he can average low 50's

With the Storm troopers ( Very Happy ) coming back from injuries, and Lodge a couple of weeks to blow out the cobwebs, I'm thinking Welch and Lodge might start scoring within a few points of each other. The trade would allow Croker to Moses. Gonna wait a week probably. Especially if Schuster dpp solves my cover problem.

I'm looking at Lodge as well. Will probably look to upgrade Welch, but considering the downgrade option

I figure if I go ahead, Moses in the 17 vs probably Walker, a 20 point upgrade for the cost of a few points between Lodge and Welch. Need some evidence for Lodge first though.

How many trades have people made so far (Including this week)?

4 for me, which is the least I've ever done to start a season.

That’s the thing, I am benching Ah Mau each week and playing SST/BSmith
They aren’t increasing in value or even scoring much better, taking up a valuable spot in the squad that someone like Lodge does cheaper

In 2-3 weeks it will be interesting when all the Coingoat mids and cheap hookers start to level out and then you need the cash to upgrade them

So might need to make some big moves this week to give me options over the next few

Yeah seems good. Any ideas for a cheapie to get in for Hoy? I can afford up to 404k but I don't see many options worth getting on, so considering Suaalii as a looper.
    O'Sullivan?
Or totally left field - Musgrove?

    Cook
    Crichton, Fui, Watson
    Fifita, Riki
    Cleary, Townsend
    Roberts, Bird
    Tedesco, Laurie, Pappy

    J. Brailey, Liddle, Schuster, Walker
    Uto, Niu, Leniu, Simonsson

I have enough cash to trade Simonsson for SOS, seems like a better option for $$ generation?
    Anyone else a better target?

nope to Musgrove, and for SOS, I might do it, though I could just hold Hoy a week and loop with him, then wait for a new cheapie to pop up.

Bringing in Walker this week makes 4 trades. Happy to have been able to save 4 trades

3 for me. Been incredibly lucky to avoid major injuries and suspensions. Currently ranked 281 which is nice change compared to the train wreck last season. No major fires to put out in my team atm so could get away with no trades this week but with a great start, I’d hate to be complacent now

I think part of the result may reflect that there is a gap between your two options of "low 70's" and "regress". He's not priced at 70's yet, so I upvoted because I don't think he'll regress on where he is priced..
