Nah, I'm waiting as well but given the time frame I wouldn't expect to hear until the last possible minute. I have him parked in 17 just in case.

Hmm im unsure what to do. I dont have cover i was planning on brining someone in for that next week

Im not sure I see SOS continuing 45+ Scores which means if he starts scoring 40s he only earns another 100k which Lussick will do for 180k less. Big difference is that SOS will be more reliable in your 17.

    I’ll take 165k of profit

40 to 50, probably more likely to the lower end.

I brought him in for his first game expecting 35-40. Has taken more of the kicking than I expected so will probably hit the 40 more often than not

I think it's a fair approach (and my situation came from dumping Avo last week too - which I understood at the time).

The problem for me, is it's the cover for all back five players.
My normal back 5 up to Round 3 was: Roberts, Avo, Teddy, Pap, Laurie - with Niu as DPP cover.

In the last three rounds 3/5 of those players have missed a game (fortunately, just one each week).

I think I'd just rather make a proactive trade in advance, than a reactive trade when someone misses a game or two for some random reason

Yeah can understand it if it's both no wfb and centre cover, as you could end up with one of each out one week and having to make two trades or play short. Mind you I only have Simo as wfb cover so almost might as well be no one Very Happy

I would consider Dragons and Warriors edge defence similar and he managed 2 LBs and a TA. He tends to stick out wide on attacking plays and provides a lot of spark as a link man. The past couple weeks against better sides he's been forced to rush stupid flick passes ect. but did come close to creating something a few times. Food for thought anyway. He has a place in my team atm. Playing SOS, Liddle, Schuster and leaving Walker out.

Yeah I'm playing Schuster this week and leaving Walker out. 39 seems to be Schuster's floor given he didn't really do much besides tackle and I think he can easily improve on that this week.

People have asked about Collins, he says in this roosters podcast that he was all good with the HIA but its a niggling ankle problem that has kept him out. Doesn't actually say when he'll be back but it didn't seem like long..

I don't think people will agree with my trades this week

    Liddle to Hampton
    Afb to Harris

Leaves enough to get matterson in for townsend next week or do a rts to turbo and get hass instead

Long-time reader, first-time poster. And when I say long-time reader, I'm talking back in the good old Sportal days. Must be 7 years ago now.
Anyway, just wanted to say what a great forum of conversation this is. I've never posted as I struggle to catch up on all the posts everyday but cheers for all of the deep thought, devil's advocacy and second-hand advice that I've taken on board over the years. It has helped me take quite a bit of cash off my mates.

No - do not do it. Post your team. I wouldn't trade Liddle yet, especially not for Hampton.

Interested to see responses to this. I have Roberts/Niu and no centre cover (traded Avo out last week). Thinking about pissing away 100k to turn Simo into Bird and stash Niu down to EMG. I really dont want to be forced looking into centre cover one week when I have other trades I like - cows will be fat soon.

Last week I traded Simonsson to Bird so I could loop in Milford's score and get some CTR cover because I only had Niu and Roberts too. That was my galaxy brain play of the week.

I certainly believe there is merit to being proactive and taking advantage of a quiet week to trade to improve your depth because you're right you don't want to find yourself in a carnage week trading to get a CTR.

I suspect if he is out we'll get 24 hours notice (hopefully) which still limits trades a bit. I am also inclined to hold him (but I have cover)

You could blow a cheapy trade and get in Topine but wtf knows how many minutes he will get. Gos is also starting again but that's a warm pool of vomit (& he plays Friday)

Really depends on whether you want to hold him or not

Well thats the question. I do want to hold him however I dont view him as a keeper. Maybe thats my answer to off him now. Its either him or DCE so surely DCE out performs Sitili over the next few weeks.. I hope

Agree - an average of 40 for 3 weeks is +110k, and he hasn't had any attacking returns yet and does run at the line. He'll be closer to 50 for mine.
