Meh, what else would i do the the next 25 weeks
Might as well see how this all plays out

On another note I wonder if TO are helping inflating players prices
Think there was over 20 alone in this last game

Seems scoring overall is up but not going to sit here and analyse it or worry too much, just a general observation

Was just about to post this.

Last year (my inaugural and VERY rookie year), I scored > 1000 only once, and was stoked when I did. This season with a far lower salary, Ive managed to average 934.

As someone without Cleary, Mahoney, and Fifita, I think this is an excellent average which simply, albeit unfortunately for me, just doesn't hold up to the new norm. Fantasy has fundamentally changed somehow, and a few players are genuine must haves. No more 2-3 guns in each position and you hope yours fires, it's genuinely 1-2 guys who if you don't own you are simply left behind.

Brutal for non-owners, but hey, that's the way the game is.

At this rate if you gain 100pts a week and max trade in the new hotness it won't matter how many you can field in the byes when you are that far ahead.
It's going to take a shit load of injuries to shake things up at this rate

The crazy thing is you could take all those gun players to start the year, throw in some coin goat mids, cheap hookers and now cheap halves and not lose
Pretty much everyone has a core of those and the few odd choices people made are the main difference
Hence the huge scores, everyone is basically firing but if you grabbed/played a couple wrong players or got unlucky with an injury it is costing you 100pts a week

It's a bit like the real money comps, it comes down to a centre and which gun you chose whether you finish in the top 20 or the bottom 20

    Brutal game haha

Still plenty of ground to make up in the bye rounds. You can easily cover 150-200 each bye round if you play it right and end of season ‘rests’ or injuries can be brutal. You already know this and I’m sure you will be taking full advantage of it too!

I think people are hugely optimistic about Haas not playing origin. I would still be targeting him but he would not figure into my bye coverage plans

Agree, if he drops minutes from last season as expected and still scores like a beast, he can't be passed over for Origin.

Didn't know Freddy took fantasy scores into account when picking his SOO side!

So looks like this was good advice. I played both unfortunately. Didn't see the second game, what'd I miss?

Fantasy mirrors performance. If he is playing 60 minutes and scoring 70+ his on field performances can't be ignored.

He doesn't but he does know exactly which non-origin guns to stack into his own fantasy team.
