Any chance Simpkin plays first 30 mins at hooker and last 30 mins at lock with Liddle playing last 50 mins at hooker. Think I'll keep Liddle for one more price rise. If Liddle and Riki play 50 mins off bench every chance they still make money this week.

Yes - hence why his historical average is 49 and he has averaged 47 so far this year. No way he competes with DCE/Moses for second best half. Moses is at more of a discount and played with a bung calf second half of year. No Brown this week with Broncos and Bulldogs to follow I'm taking the plunge.
I don't think Moses competes with DCE for second best half either personally. IMO Fog/Moses are closer than Moses/DCE, and Fog is 100k cheaper than Moses.

Cheers. Very sound thoughts there which I'll probably action. Not enough bank to get Haas. Liddle and Capewell can get me $884k max plus Simpkin. Think I'll just bring Simpkin in on the cheap and play Capewell. Thanks matemrbrownstone wrote:
Capwell surely a hold against the Broncs. Roberts I'd hold too unless you want to waste trades on centres - you have two fit ones though so I wouldn't. Simonsson, Niu hardly urgent, can probably sit in NPRs for a week.
No reason you can't swap Capewell & Walker with Riki & Liddle to field a solid 17.
Can't go too far wrong with Riki + Liddle to Tohu/Haas + Simpkin though depending on your bank.
Or even just Liddle to Simpkin (or Fog depending on bank) and wait a week to see what Riki does in terms of minutes off the bench.

Maybe not... Farnworth back next week and Staggs in probably 4-6 weeks. You would think full strength Farns and Staggs centres with Isaako at FB and Coates and Mead/Oates wing...

Would have been unusual to have development players in that situation. If you are coming on after your team has been playing with 14 for at least 15 minutes, you want someone with experience coming in, not a rookie when your team is under pressuremy tv broke wrote:
I think they scrapped that. There were definitely non development players named as 18th man last week.

Liddle has to make the team first mate

How’s Liddle meant to do that when he’s in the reserves?

I was thinking the same, but it's not like he was setting the world on fire anyway.

Averages 59.75 taking out HIA game and then you look at that draw from now to round 17 with DCE playing origin and I beg to differ.
Raiders, Broncos, Bulldogs, Roosters, Warriors, Sea Eagles, Rabbitohs, Knights, Tigers, Bulldogs, Panthers
String of matches against bottom 6 teams with a few top four games in between (still good for kick metres).

With no Keary I wouldn't rulle out Moses being named at 6... Will be a name thrown around with Wighton, Luai, etc.

Could play off the bench as a utility (instead of their half they have been using)
He came off the bench for a few games last year off memory, how does he score there?
Might not bleed too cash much before getting a wing spot?

Yeah - well if you're counting games missed for rep duty then it's closer. I was talking about their ability to score on any given week - I'd take DCE head to head against Moses every day of the week.

I would rule it out. Same play style as Cleary/ARey/Pearce which makes his skill set redundant. I personally think Dylan Brown is more likely to wear 6 than Moses

True, but not named NSW Cup and high chance Moses Mybe goes to centre for someone

Does Dylan brown average more than Moses by end of year?
Similar price and average (minus injury game) so far
Similar average last year too but Brown more developed with another year in first grade

So he's less than zero chance (given Brown's a Kiwi).

So you would pay $130k more for DCE over Moses but not pay $90k more for Moses over FOG

Have the 18th man/reserves been playing NSW Cup as well?
I think it would be strange to have a hooker as 18th though, interchange position likely?
I think it depends on location of the games, beau fermor was titans 18th man and played for Burleigh but this week he’s not named. Assuming because burleigh play same day in tweed compared to titans in mudgee.
Also off the top of my head mck and bullemor were 18th man for their clubs and played cup so think it just depends on if it’s possible for them to attend both games

Sea Eagles for another upset this week over the Titans?
