There’s probably a bunch of other majority owned players. There’s actually not that many PODs really IMO
Teams may actually get more diverse as the % go up and people have to get creative with the inevitable lack of cash gen

I'm not sure on the tactic of starting with Blore. There's a good chance he starts from the bench and don't see him jumping past 5%. I could be way off though.

No chance I'm fielding 17 every week. I really stuffed up my bench and squad balance

Was there another way to play?
For me it was all locking in the most gun players you could find in their position and going as cheap as possible everywhere else.

Totally agree, mate. Wasn't interested in Blore because he'll still be there for the picking for a few weeks.
Haven't seen tonight's games yet but I have Ponga and that sounds like a good thing.

Have all of the first 4 but no Lucy or Blore. Also have Macca, Tevaga and Doueihi.
This team is sitting 6/388 (technically 7/437 after the Tracey loop is added) which is more than my main team with 2 less players but captain played.

I just grabbed Blore because I wanted a cheap player on my bench to allow more expensive elsewhere, and he's as likely to be useful as any other base price player

Yeah we got 36 trades for 18 rounds left i think, plus saving Blore and Verrils trade-ins its pretty much a trade-a-thon every week if we need

You won't be able to get Verrils the week he is selected as he will be very highly owned.

As long as you trade early you should be OK
If a player starts the week at 4% and goes up to 8% during the week, its OK to bring them in if you do it whilst they have POD status, right?
I guess there is a bit of an honour system going around when people time their trades, but the value gets taken when you make the trade, not what they end up at.

Might have to ask Welshy. I mean, someone like Verills is 1.3% now but you'd think if named to start, come the next day he's well over 5%. How do we work that I wonder. Anyone could wait til an hour before to confirm the trade and say they did it as soon as team lists were announced.

The play is to trade him straight after lockout and then reverse trade if he's not named. All for a bit of fun though - surely a guy with 1.3% ownership when lockout is lifted is fair game, even if he ends up with high ownership by the time of the first game next week.
