He adds points for fun just by seemingly being out there. Never seen anything like it. Even The CS9 of old worked his arse off not only kicking in field and goals but making his 50-60 tackles. Incredible scenes
Also... this does not bode well for the holding Niu and Milf. Out they go
I don't know why people still doubt Cleary. His scores are all base and sustainable
He's heavily involved in attack and is a good defender. Doesn't have a lot of demerits. And kicks the shit out of the ball. And kicks goals
Edit: 423km in the first half lol

Looking good for a reserve grader.
Do you really want to compare a single half of footy with game on game of failure?

The nrl need to look into this Kikau "HIA" thing. 3rd time hes been taken for a "HIA" in the 30 odd minute mark this year. Fucken ridiculous

If he has one bloke hanging off his jersey for dear life as he usually does, he could skittle the other 12 players and get 0 TBs, that how that stat works, you have to break out of being in a tackle for it to count

I've been watching closely (as a non-owner) but the lad is just everywhere. Super busy in defense, handles the ball 3-4 times a set, kicks the majority of the time (and good ones), is happy to take on the line and pick up 75-150m a game in runs, inevitable tackle busts each game, will obviously assist and score many tries - He's simply a weapon.GreenMachine wrote:Anyone actually bothered to QA Cleary’s points or do we just shut up and enjoy it.

Not entirely true, he has had a couple games where he was set for a 40-50 but pulled out a 20+ play with a few mins left... very unlucky for those waiting for a high BE

That's the definition of a tackle bust I guess.Tommy_gun wrote:Not a Haas owner, but the amount of times he charges through the line and skittles defenders without being awarded a tb is ridiculous. Zero doubt over Cleary in ability or fantasy scoringShady2K wrote:

Just never seen anything like it. Tackles well for a half especially, absolutely but he’s comfortably surpassing the benchmark that was CS9 who made 50+ of them! Incredible is all

I reckon I say this nearly week at this point. If a defender is still holding onto the player it doesnt matter how many players they push off or bump there is no tackle break because the tackle is still in progress.

Cleary 57 at HT. Same again second half + an obligatory try & he's on for the record (post-updates)

Haas had a clear TB aswell so give or take 35 at the half. Hopefully he goes under 60 so he drops some more

If a player falls off the tackle while other players are still involved then it's not a tackle break.
Haven't seen a clean TB from Haas so far tonight I don't think.

Could have traded both Milford and Riki out but picked the two red dots in Milford and Liddle.
Wish I'd kept Liddle now. At least it's clear Milford ain't seeing first grade anytime soon.

Lucky for the owners eh.
