James Roberts is in my NPRs this week but will be starting for Momirovski next 2 weeks.

So 60+ this week and then back to single figures?

Roberts was always going to be a guy who could get a really low score if things didn’t go his way. I do wonder if he is capable of the monster score he could occasionally get in the past though. He isn’t getting any younger. But I have got him and have to play him until I decide what to with Niu.

Momo out is not ideal.. he’s been so consistent, just gets it done

Good thing Roberts can slot in for his 10 point contribution

Makes you wonder what the coach thinks about it? Surely if you sometimes pass the ball to the threats outside you, it makes your dummy and go more effective you would think.

I'm a bit concerned about Cleary's performance last night, his junk-point play came a bit late in the game, it was the 78th minute... sheesh, come on man! You can do better

If they had a bit of Milford’s polish in attack they may have caused the boilover of the year as they fell agonisingly short of victory in the 20-12 defeat that came down to a two-point field goal and late try to halfback Nathan Cleary.

"When we had good ball we didn’t take our chances and put them under pressure so you know they did when they got down there and they end up winning the game," Lodge said.

    Oates on Milford:

"He knows what he has to go and do and we all back him to do that and be back in our team as soon as he can.

"I’ve got nothing against the halves we had tonight but you know when you’ve got a Milford in your team full of confidence and having fun he is hard to stop."

Price change calculations only care about players that take the field though. Its been $131-132million the past  few weeks.

Can't know it exactly now because of potential last minute changes to playing 17s, and some teams not using all their subs (also theoretically some teams might use 18 players in a game)
The prices of everyone named (minus Sami and plus Pearson) is $132,070,000

Anyone holding BS9 for the week (ie me), Bellamy not giving away plans for BS9/Grant

Basically said Grant would normally be an 80 min player but they'll manage his mins at this point in the season, and probably play more mins this week.

End of the day BS9 is probably going to need some bumping runs to score well.

Seems the perfect compliment to Brooks who pretty much always passes the ball (immediately) and almost never runs it to the line.

Oh, if only the two of them could find a happy medium inbetween...

I did find myself thinking last night that the halves may have looked "adequate?", but it was easily the best platform that the Bronco's forwards have laid for quite some time.
A forward pack playing with intent surely helps the halves both in defence and attack.

I agree, the bronco's pack has the potential to be one of the best with the talent they have. They looked consistent last night, not many unnecessary errors and offloads. Croft adequately did his job. You would think Walters just wants them to get the basics right, opportunities will come, both Bronco's tries came from doing the basics right, nothing fancy.

I have just sat down and done the maths and for me to do Riki to Haas in one trade with 375k ITB I need everyone to score 13,615 this round which is an average of 50.055 per player. For comparison the total points scored last night was 1,476 or 43 points per player. So I did all this work and found out it is practically impossible. What is the highest ever score in one round?

Since I did the maths I'll share it:

For a Magic number of 13,000 or 10,159 points this round or 37.35 points per player, Riki would be 496K, Haas would be 893k for a difference of 397k

For a Magic number of 12,500 or 10,565.6 points this round or 38.84 points per player, Riki would be 491K, Haas would be 885k for a difference of 394k

For a Magic number of 12,000 or 11,005.8 points this round or 40.46 points per player, Riki would be 487K, Haas would be 876k for a difference of 389k

For a Magic number of 11,000 or 12,006 points this round or 44.14 points per player, Riki would be 477K, Haas would be 860k for a difference of 383k

For a Magic number of 10,000 or 13,207 points this round or 48.56 points per player, Riki would be 467K, Haas would be 844k for a difference of 377k

For a Magic number of 9,000 or 14,674.4 points this round or 53.95 points per player, Riki would be 458K, Haas would be 828k for a difference of 370k
