for sure that’s a great run for Parra but i thought the idea that fixtures have an impact on individual fantasy scores was a bit of a myth (at least for NRL as opposed to NFL or EPL)? Especially i would have thought for an edge forward.

Agree playing Rd 13 is tempting, and agree on Moses.

I'm pretty sure the decision rests with the player at any rate. Overall, there was more to gain as they have the depth to cover him if they lost.

Unsure whether to improve my outside back depth or trade in a gun.

I'd like to add a gun to my team but I'd have shithouse outside back coverage. Trading in Moses sounds a lot better than trading in a Lomax or Peachey though.

I am grabbing Haas but really stuck on my second trade.

    Lucy/Frizz - Depth: Fifita, Schuster

Moses/Munster - Depth: Cleary, SoS, Walker

Trbojevic - Depth: Tedesco, Papy, Laurie, Isaako

Also looking at Barnett, Young and Twal a little. But dont need MID cover as I have Lodge outside the 13, and not sure how Barnett goes longterm without foal kicking. Hudson is boosted by tries in the opening rounds.

Munster and Moses are hard to seperate. Moses being slightly cheaper and less of an Origin shot.

Lucy has the best floor most likely, but is less likely to ball out of control like the other two. Frizell has a lower floor than Lucy but looked amazing last week.

Trbojevic has the highest ceiling imo and the cheapest price but I have a lot of picks at WFB, and could swap out Isaako/Laurie which will cost a fair bit.

The appeal is I need a WFB, he's cheap, plays round 13, plays for a top 4 side, and has a history of try scoring.

Where I sit rank wise there isn't much point making the same trades as everyone else.

For bye round differentials At those odds I think I prefer your boy Herbie over Crit mate

Crichton has been pretty poor at fullback, Edwards is back on the pine so at least that experiment will be over soon

I agree, I brought Herbie into Mum’s team over Chricton to replace Niu’s dpp cover. Will play him for Papy this week.

My own team has Hampton but I bought him super early hoping he would make cash for an upgrade. He’s made $93k and I’m death riding him until he maxes out or gets dropped. I don’t think I would bring him in this week unless I had not many options.

2k short of Tino and Riki to Herbie and Pangai. Bit ugly grabbing two Broncos players as well.. but I dunno.

I could punt Milford instead of Tino

Basically, you can’t get those points back and have to now pay premium dollars, so you will always be behind those that started with him. That has proven - so far - to be a mistake but i reckon the strategy now has to be to zig while everyone else is zagging. Use the money everyone else has tied up in Cleary to grab other guns, and hope to make ip ground that way. Once you get him, you’ve locked in the disadvantage of not starting with him forever...

Still catching up on the last 20 pages, but just having a scroll through the top 10 teams and:

    10/10 own Pap (no surprise)

    9/10 own Mitchell

    8/10 own Momo

Most have bugger all cover so either burning trades or some won't be fielding 17.

First has CTR cover in Opacic & Avo, but 0 WFB cover. So either two trades on WFBs or field 16.

Second has no CTR or WFB cover (and Topine in EMG for some reason), won't be fielding 17. Third same, won't be fielding 17.

Fourth has Saab as WFB cover, so will need to spend 2 trades on a CRT & WFB to field 17. Fifth same, except Hampton as cover.

Sixth has Moylan as cover but also Hoy, Milf, Niu as red dots in addition to Momo, Pap, Latrell. Bit of a mess.

Seventh has no CTR or WFB cover, won't be fielding 17.

Eighth has Laurie to bring in but will need to trade a WFB to field 17. They also traded in Simpkins instead of Simpkin (lol).

Ninth has RTS instead of Mitchell, but no cover so still needs to spend 2 trades on a CTR and WFB.

Tenth arguably best placed this week. Doesn't have Momo, can bring in Laurie, just needs one trade to field 17.

I think I’ve decided on trades. Will continue to walk the tightrope of no CTR cover (with Roberts still starting!) and being very thin at MID and EDG. Just so I can bring in another HLF and another HOK, as you do.

I just couldnt do Hampton. Would’ve been on it 2 or 3 weeks ago if I needed a CTR at the time (ie. if id known Niu would be dropped). Over 300k it’s a nope from me, especially as I reckon Cowboys want a new half ASAP - there were already rumours of Clune being part of the McGuire deal, the Chad signed for next year and could go early maybe...

Also very reluctantly holding SST because moves still feel sideways if he’s fit, and they play too late on the weekend to see first with the replacements I’d potentially want
