NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 41 - Didn't see that coming!

What's everyone's thoughts on Frizell? I'm thinking of doing Alvaro to Verills and Uto to Frizell as both middles have just about peaked. Can get anyone under 795k and Frizz seems to catch my eye the most - what would you guys go? Not really fussed about origin, more focusing on h2h now

Based on your prior posts, it seems like you are pretty unhappy with the way your team is going and therefore the suggestions that you have been receiving.

Maybe this time just try going with your gut rather than consensus opinion? - just a thought

Gotta back your gut in. Most of the time your first thought is the right one, it's why I have Doueihi in my team.

For instance, I had a thought-out, measured setup this week with Walker at 17 (opportunities vs the Dragons), Stefano at 19 and was out (shopping) with the family.

I saw the Tigers team list came through and thought Stefano is starting, bench Seyfarth only plays 20 odd, Garner is edge, MBye is meh, and Musgrove only plays 30 minutes. Stefano has a big engine, he must be getting 50 mins today. Yeah, that worked out well...

People, don't second guess your setup (especially with a 30 second glance at your phone while out).

This is my official "I really really suck at Fantasy" week

Shite Roberts down to 286k so for me he's really difficult to sell around that price

Yeah but you noticed new information that played a massive part in your final decision. If you made the Walker decision while knowing the bench makeup of the Tigers it would have been different. You can only make decisions based on what is in front of you. Disregarding info is probably going to backfire more often than not

Not sure that one is working out for us yet haha. Definite R13 special incoming though.

The only trade I've made this year which I don't love was Croker -> SOS. Should've maintained the belief in the little engine that could, which is my pet name for Croker now.

My only hope is to start only bringing in R13 players and have a monster bye round. Looks like I am carrying 400k into next round too. Haven't had below 200k bank in 5 weeks haha

I don't like the idea of buying mids tbh.

Idk how much money you have but if you're selling Riki and Turps, I think you're better off going gun and cow rather than two mids

I just did some quick maths and if you sell Riki to Billy Burns, Shawn Blore or Reece Walsh, then you have enough money to upgrade Turpin to someone like Macca, Ponga, Tohu or Cook, depending on what position your team needs depth in. All four of those guns are season keepers, while I don't think Sitili or Turbo are.

The best thing that could happen tomorrow is Niu returns and I can save a trade. I probably have a better chance of winning Powerball. So, if Teddy isn’t playing this week, I’m more than likely to bring in Hampton for Roberts, chucking Teddy in my NPRs for the week, and the following week, one of Isaako or Laurie goes to the NPRs and Ted returns to the starting 13.

Or, do I keep Roberts and his possible AE score of 12 or less, and go Niu >Hampton?

As I write this, the thought of saving a trade and only playing 16 has popped into my head.

Currently have 23 trades and 153K.
