Looking for a cash out this week. Assuming Walsh is the way to go?

Blore is the best if he gets named. Billy Burns seems good too as he'll likely play the bye if he can keep his spot.

Walsh is very risky but could pay off big time if RTS lets him keep the fullback spot.

I don't like the idea of buying mids tbh.

Idk how much money you have but if you're selling Riki and Turps, I think you're better off going gun and cow rather than two mids

I just did some quick maths and if you sell Riki to Billy Burns, Shawn Blore or Reece Walsh, then you have enough money to upgrade Turpin to someone like Macca, Ponga, Tohu or Cook, depending on what position your team needs depth in. All four of those guns are season keepers, while I don't think Sitili or Turbo are.

Yeah, but then you'd also have Burns, Blore or Walsh.

Yeah but you noticed new information that played a massive part in your final decision. If you made the Walker decision while knowing the bench makeup of the Tigers it would have been different. You can only make decisions based on what is in front of you. Disregarding info is probably going to backfire more often than not

    You're not wrong.

The problem was that I was adding in a partial component of information and considering it from a best case scenario.
Because I didn't really have the time/facility to consider it entirely there were key elements I was not considering:

    - MBye has actually been playing fairly large minutes off the bench and was unlikely to be playing at Hooker, so that means a light Lock (like Watson, only much shitter).
    - Joe Ofa was likely to shift into MID as well, with Garner to Edge (It had skipped my mind that this was what was happening).
    - Madge is also one of those coaches that play starting props at times for small minutes (albeit I still would've expected more than 30 minutes).
    - The Tigers were going to get a toweling (okay I didn't expect this - but it's one of the reasons I HATE owning players that are on the team I support and usually try to avoid this - it's very hard not to have some level of optimism bias)

    TLDR:
GOOD: using new information in your decision making when it is very clear the impact that it will have.
BAD: making impulsive last-minute decisions on a small subset of information with debatable/uncertain impact (in my experience at least).

Haha fair enough. Probably depends what you paid for him or if you needed his points last week.

He has been ok since I had him, he wouldn’t have helped some of my shit scoring in other positions last week and has still made 120k

Should he disappear forever it could have been worse

    On the De Belin case:

    https://www.smh.com.au/national/nsw/witness-in-jack-de-belin-case-had-flashback-that-came-to-him-in-a-dream-court-told-20210426-p57mdq.html

"A man has told a court that footballer Jack de Belin’s accuser approached him in a nightclub before she was allegedly assaulted and said the footballer was “hot” and she wanted to “get with him”, but he later conceded part of his recollection of that night came to him in a flashback in a dream."

God knows how this case is going to turn out.

I reckon he'll still have a few low 40s in him. I would put him in the Jazz, Luke Thompson tier of sub gun PODs

I mean I haven't been to court before (I never contest my fines) but LOL. A key witness testimony is a dream. A DREAM.

think i'm gunna end up taking the punt on TPJ, suspensions are a worry, but he's actually been pretty well-disciplined this year, that said loading doesn't give a shit about attitude adjustments, only takes one slip-up for him to miss a month.

Hetherington made it longer than expected. Rabs too. TPJ and that other clown at the Raiders, Sutton or Young? One of them.. They're hanging in there.. next minute they're football kicking someone in the head and you're like "Yep".

If he can keep up that base of 35 tackles and 130 run metres then its not a bad play.

Could go very pear shaped though

I know everyone is very keen on Moses as a half but what about D.Brown or J.Hughes?
I need to trade out Townsend and would either of the above be someone to keep for the rest of the season?
