But I brought him in for Averillo.

I remember your post about Averillo a week or so back. Something like he'll manage to keep getting these 40 point games.

I ended up getting Bird last week too!

The problem with this is that I can guarantee that the person most invested in how your team does is you.

That doesn't mean that people won't try and help, they will out of the goodness of their kind hearts, but you can't expect them to look much beyond the current week or any broader strategy that you maybe might want to have for your own team. Plus, getting people to come up with a number of suggestions for you to consider, is a bit of a "get others to do the heavy lifting while you then decide if you see value in their efforts" approach.

I'm sure you are very capable of coming up with ideas, and maybe it might be more rewarding to say "Hey, what do you think of this trade? because I think..."

The community team, and what others are posting is a good starting point for ideas (and no doubt there will be others with similar set-ups or problems etc).

Obviously this is just my opinion, and I mean it in a good way, so take it for what it's worth, but I'm pretty certain that you are very capable of leading your team Very Happy

Nothing worse than the Thursday morning posters, asking for someone to decide on trades for them, then disappearing for the week. Chuck in the odd bumped post coz someone didn’t reply in 20mins. Should I just follow the community team thread coz the team is likely 95% the same.

I guess if Walsh gets SOS’s spot then that’s a pretty simple trade and well priced WFB cover for a while

    Pretty concerning to me that I’ve burned through trades like no ones business yet have 9 players in my 21 man squad I really want nothing to do with. Won’t get into origin and byes coverage, but how many players does everyone have that they hate the sight of. Keen to see if my nine is par;

    - SOS (bad player in bad team, serves me right)
    - Egan (see above)
    - Niu (how does this prick keep surviving)
    - Leniu (why am I waiting for his 19pts in R13)
    - Stefano (middie cow middles that you have to play at times. Just kill me)
    - Hampton (no comment. It’s Ben Hampton)
    - Laurie (nice rookie. going to take quite the upgrade to get to Ponga)
    - Bird/Momo (both are fine. I’m a Peach owner though. Why do I have both)
    - Watson (I mean, he’s fine. Good attacking stats player, but starting 13 for me and he’s one of them pests who moves to bench every week post teamsheets. I don’t have time for this shit)

    23 trades left.

Team lists will make a lot of choices easy. Ideally for me I’d like to see Walsh at 6 and Levi banished to the shadow realm. Teddy not being named would make a trade out simple as well

So I can keep Turpin. And then go Teddy to Walsh and Egan to a gun of my choice

SOS can stay for another round just because he isn’t bleeding cash

    Ok that’s a small relief.

I did mention not getting into coverage. Eagle eyed willl have noticed 7 of the above are useful on R13. 5 if I stop dreaming about Tesi and Leniu

Still feel like I’ve got a lot (too many) bad players to eventually move on.

Warriors (SOS/Egan) with no round 13 definite top of the trade outs and fucked if I’ll be going anywhere near Walsh. If he gets you the odd 50, fair play, but he’s another trade waiting to happen

Thoughts on CHN vs Billy Burns?

CHN is obviously a much better player, but plays in a stacked Raiders pack, costs quite a bit more, and doesn't play the first bye

Burns isn't quite as good, but seems to have won that edge spot on merit and has less competition, costs less, and plays the first bye.

Don't really matter with Watto anyway mate, averaging 53 and that's with games when he has been moved to half

My shit list would have to include Isaako, Laurie, Egan, SOS, Roberts, and Niu. I have the same amount of trades, so really feel like I’m going to have to keep Roberts and his 12 points come round 13. Plan, as of right now, is to keep Isaako and Laurie for round 13, and upgrade after that. Really not sure how long I can hold onto players like Egan and Jensen(hope last week was just a bad one for both of them). 🆘 may just be a red dot along with Niu, until a different set of 🐄 come along.

I’ve the same amount of trades and my gut says I’ll be making at least one come 18:40, Saturday evening. Last I checked, I think I’ve got 12 players for round 13.

Laurie has been Mr consistent up until Sunday, he has a favourable draw for next 4,5 games. Rd 13 vs panthers might be a good farewell
