Bird at 6 you say Wolfie? With Hunt possibly back that he goes back to CTR?

Okay how about Gutherson as a WFB option?

Pretty consistent scores, probably won't retain an Origin spot.

Ah yeah, of course, I forgot about Hunt for a second. Don't mind me. Wasn't there talk of Bird in the second row or lock? Who knows, I'll clear from any more Dragons I think.

I'm not missing out on another big-haired backrower with huge ceiling and questionable job security, so CHN over Burns all day, every day. Burns's hair is not fit for purpose.

Haha all good. Surely if he gets a spot in the forwards he will be worth a buy? Not sure what his price is though. Will wait to see what TLT provides

Bird will have to play CTR the next few weeks you’d think, both Rava and Pereira suspended so they will need him there.

But I think the Dragons forwards are a bit of a lottery. Even the good ones like Vaughan and McGuire aren’t going to get consistent scores/minutes.

Considering how much of a handbrake Marschke is on their attack, I highly doubt Verrills will still be on the bench in 2 weeks time.

Thought Marshke was actually really good at the weekend. Verrills obviously better, and will start soon, but Marshke improving. Then with Perenara probably coming it doesn't look like they see Verrills as an 80-minute man. Should still make money etc, but not a guaranteed guy to have in your 17.

Yep, he’s probably first to go. Can’t afford Edwards with him but I could cash down.

What are you expecting from Edwards?

40s-50s with the occasional higher score. Plays round 13 and no origin, probably a stepping stone to a gun post R17. That said, my WFB situation is pretty good right now so it could wait.

Good point. He moved there late in the game anyway so he'll stay there for a while.

    Pencilled in my trades.

    Egan -> Haas
    Turpin -> Crichton
(I have SoS still but hoping he gets back into the squad or I trade him out next week for a cash cow if I find one.)

Trades leave me with 5k in the bank so if I keep one of Turpin/Egan it changes my second trade in quite a lot.

    HOK: J. Brailey
    MID: P. Haas, I. Papli'i, C. Watson
    EDG: D. Fifita, A. Crichton
    HLF: N. Cleary, M. Moses
    CTR: B. Hampton, J. Bird
    WFB: T. Trbojevic, D. Laurie, J. Isaako

    INT: J. Schuster, M. Lodge, J. Simpkin, S. Walker

    EMG: J. Roberts, S. O'Sullivan, J. Tedesco, R. Papenhyuzen

Missing Ponga and realistically two long term CTR options for the team. Laurie and Isaako having dud games makes me want to look at trading them, but keeping them both for now.

One is the better teams I’ve seen posted. Normal byes to navigate challenges but looking very nice that.

Isaako doesn’t add anything has to be first priority as soon as you’ve got his 30pts in R13

    I’m very jealous of Papli

Anyone looking at Kurt Mann? Seems to be getting good scores in 80, plays round 13. Is Pearce returning his only threat? Pearce not due back until round 14-16 according to NRL website. His BE is low coming off a good game too. I’m thinking he could be a decent SOS replacement.

    I have

Teddy Pappy Momo Tino Curran SOS

Turpin losing cash fast but can't trade him
    Leniu bleeding cash
Jet bleeding cash, might get dropped and cost me 10 points a week.
Simpkin about to lose 80 mins

Put a fork in me. I'm done.

I "liked the look of my team" as well ... right before Teddy got knocked out, SOS was dumped, Pappy injured, Momo suspended, Roberts (there's nothing to say).

Waiting for TL - but I'd already pencilled in my 1 trade for the round: Stefano > Haas.
Going to have to put up with one more game of Roberts being a passenger.
If Ted is out, I may be forced into 2nd trade, but really have to stop.

Thoughts on my trades? I'm like 99% sure, just tell me if you think there's something majorly wrong.

Uto + Niu -> Ponga + Curran (if Curran gets off his charge, otherwise it's either Burns or Blore depending on team lists)

Would leave me with 17k in the bank, 22 trades and the following side

    Brailey
    Welch, Watson, Angus
    Schuster, Fifita
    Cleary, Moses
    Bird, Hampton
    Ponga, Doueihi, Teddy

    Simpkin, Walker, Curran, Laurie

    Verrills, Alvaro, Papy, Momo

I figure this trade plan means I can hold Teddy and have my WFBs locked in for the year once Ted and Pap are both back, as well as get Niu and Uto out of my side who are both peaked.

That said, if Niu can get named this week, I will instead sell Uto to Macca and bank the other trade, as I would then be able to cover a Teddy out.

What are the chances of Roberts being dropped this week? Obviously he's been abysmal and deserves to be dropped, but that's been the case after pretty much every round. Will Madge finally do it this week?

Also, I've got Tedesco in my team and it seems as though the chances of him playing are next to 0 given how we've treated concussions lately, on top of his recent history with them.

A few weeks ago I was really worried that SOS was going to be this season's Fogarty, grabbed Walker and Schuster the weeks they both started, couldn't grab SOS as well, so let him go by. Feeling very fortunate to have missed him now.
