Having no trades for 4 rounds sounds incredibly ambitious
Probably didn't format it very well - those are just the ones where I'll definitely trade, and then 7 trades remaining to be spread between R 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16.

If Levi is on the bench again I may go Turpin to Verrills and Roberts to Best
Would leave me 22 trades left and 202k spare, thoughts????
Macca
Alvaro Haas Watson
Angus Fifita
Cleary Schuster
Bird Best
Hampton Laurie Simonsson
Brailey S. Walker Simpkin Verrills
Uto Leniu Teddy Pap
Or is there a better trade or 2 I should look at?
I like the Best trade, could be an awesome POD.

Best near 600k for a legit CTR.. For the community team I like the look of Peachy playing LK if spending that much. Lomax, Crichton and Opacic some other Rd 13 guys for cheaper.
Taking the week to look at Verrills paid off imo. Walsh or Blore if named to start seem better prospects to me.

So much chat about round 13 and I’m getting reamed week to week. What’s to say all the players youre trading in for round 13 are even playing in round 13

I think very few people are trading in rd 13 players as luxury trades and most are in a similar boat where they are forced into a trade. It's just that for the replacement they are considering someone who plays r13 ( eh I probably have to trade Young, so I'll go TPJ or something). And I guess nothing days they play rd13, though they've probably gotta better chance of doing so than the guys whose teams don't play that week.Erin Moleman wrote:So much chat about round 13 and I’m getting reamed week to week. Think I may give Haas a miss this week and bring Keaon back in, should turn a pretty penny and hopefully the points difference is not that great for 1 week, and hopefully get Haas next week.

heavy focus on bye weeks always reminds me of Sam Burgess for a bloke that played 0 origin games, the amount of bye weeks he missed rivalled blokes who were origin mainstays through his career.

Yeah that’s all well and good and I understand but if people are trading in a player a tier down from a keeper just for round 13 I’m not so sure about that. If you have the chance to pull the trigger on a keeper just do it. I guess it depends on your style of game as well, I’m not so much a risk taker and my overall chances are well shot.

Thanks to the guys who offered up some advice on my joke of a team in the last thread haha. Forgot about Kenny most likely being needed to be traded out. Running short on time these days but tbh the carnage in fantasy is probably the thing that keeps me most engaged (aside from this place). Keen for TLT! Hoping SOS makes a miraculous return

Mate if you can field 17 without having to pull the trigger on a trade then I would hold fire for a couple of weeks.
I am holding Roberts this week, much as I would love to ditch him, because at this stage he is a warm body in a spot I don't want to spend any more trades than absolutely necessary in. When one of your injured players comes back you can sit him down and wait for a decent CC to come along.
You need to start holding trades at some point and a good indication of when you should hold is when there is carnage and you can field 17.
I am unconvinced on the Turpin to Verrills trade either....I understand if Turpin is losing $ you want to trade but I would be upgrading him to someone who is going to get you consistent points week in week out (i.e. a decent forward). Your bench is full of 'this weeks special offer' guys who will make some coin (or not) use the money you get from Turps wisely.

Which players are you referring to that aren't keepers and people are trading in for Rd 13?

Yep, good trade. Will be doing this if I don't bring a mid in.

I'm thinking of turning Turpin back into him if I don't go Moses. I just don't hope last week's game was an anomaly.

The Broncos have confirmed Milford and Gamble will be the halves this week
Haas - “Tyson is a real good talker, that is what we need in the team with our halves. We need some direction and I think Tyson is the man to do that job.
“He is just non-stop talking - you could hear him out there today.”
“Everyone knows what Milf can bring and it’s just up to us forwards to create that for him and have a half like Tyson who just talks and lets Milf do what he wants is going to be real good for us this Friday.”
reckon they want a half that talks?
