For value yeah probably, but Haas is going to outscore him in the long run. I went Tohu cause the DPP is vital for my team

Yeah true, dpp is always handy. I don’t think he’ll outscore him by much honestly, early on I’m happy to take the value and try get him in at a later date I think. With the Number of injuries and suspensions around dpp in a player is so underrated

    Interested in your thoughts on:

    a) trading in Peachey so not having to play Roberts (will be playing Fuimaono in MID)

    vs

    b) Bringing in Haas but still having to play Roberts one more week at the least

I have Momirovski, so am happy to play Roberts short term whilst he is out
In that sort of situation I don't think its worth spending a trade (and more importantly) cash moving Roberts on.
If Momirovski doesn't start on his return then will deal with that at the time

If Roberts is your long term CTR then upgrading him is probably money well spent.
Peachey is points, not value - but he's got a good floor for a CTR and a high ceiling.

    You're crazy.

$65k difference equates to around a 5 point difference so if you think Tohu can average within 5 points of Haas, no reason not to go down that path.
As a Warriors fan, I do worry about how much longer his body is going to let him keep playing this big minute role.

    Team (after trades)

    Brailey
    Haas, Watson, Crichton
    Fifita, Schuster
    Cleary, Moses
    Peachey, Bird
    Teddy*, Hampton, Laurie

    Papalii, Fogarty, Simpkin, SOS,
    Riki, Walker, Uto, Simo*

Will be having a look at Riki's score tonight, and if it's worth keeping will have to make a call on Simpkin or Walker.

Can only afford both if I double trade next week and also bring Verrills in

Or the other hand, could renege on Hampton and get Walsh in, which is starting to look more tempting - Then get Moses this week and Haas next based on BEs

On the gripping hand, probably want Verrills next week anyway so should be able to afford Moses/Haas whatever happens

I’m getting Moses and Walsh this week, Verrills and Haas next.

EJ24 wrote:Hey guys, just chasing a different perspective on my team with trying to find the right balance while keeping round 13 in mind

Team before trades looks like this with 25 trades and 24k ITB

    Brailey
    Watson BS9 Chrichton
    Fifi Schuster
    Cleary Fog
    Roberts Peachey
    Teddy To'o Laurie

    Simpkin Alvaro Walker Turpin

    Papi Simmonson Leniu Utoikamanu

Turpin, Papi and BS9 are my trade out targets. Thinking Papi - Walsh + Turpin - Haas with cash to trade BS9 to Koro next week.

Alternatively I could bring in Bird or Hampton to avoid playing Roberts from here on out but would have to cop Simmonsons 26.

Any insight would be awesome. Cheers and good luck to all this week

I think copping Simmo's 26 isn't the end of the world, Walsh might not even score a lot more for all we know. And you have no centre cover and getting some pushes Roberts to NPR which would be ideal. If you didn't have Peachey, getting Peachey in would be a no brainer. All the others could score worse than Roberts for all we know. If you go that way, Bird or Hampton would indeed be my choices.

Haas and Walsh with cash for Koro sounds very appealing to. Your forward pack is decent, but if you are set on BS9 to Koro (similar to me with Welch to Koro), then you're going to need a MID and Haas is the logical choice.

TL;DR tough call, both have merit. I lean toward Haas to you can do BS9 to Koro.

Yeah basically it came down to set-and-forget centre to sit alongside Bird and pray I dont have to waste trades there.
Happy to pay a premium for him if it saves me trades in the long run.

Should be able to get Haas in next week anyway so it really isn't going to make a huge difference either way - I'd either be crossing fingers for a good score from Roberts or for Haas not to bust out a big one.

Yeah - probably look for a cheapish option to bring in for SOS leading up to the Origin period. I'm thinking Ted, Pap and Pong are the 3 to run with after origin, so will be looking to just muddle through til then (and build up enough bank to afford to get them)

I'd do that then. I made that trade last week to give me Bird/Peachey long term combo with Roberts NPR.

    @Mulvy 100% haha.  Mate, I think I have to go with my gut and just do it.  Would give me this;

    Brailey
    Watson Haas Crichton
    Fifita Schuster
    Cleary Fog
    Bird Peachey
    Ted Laurie Hampton

    IPap Simpkin Moses Walker

    Avaro Leniu Stefan Simo

22 trades left and 159K in the bank still.  No centre cover though.
