Hey guys, a little advice would be much appreciated.

Team with $194k bank before trades is:

    JBrailey
    Haas, Ipap, Watson
    DFifita, Crichton
    Cleary (c), Moses
    Peachey, Averillo
    Tedesco, To'o, Laurie

    Schuster, CHN, SWalker, Simpkin

    Walsh, Uto, Leniu, Roberts

I am thinking that Fogarty or TPJ are targets. I can go Uto to Fogarty in one trade (replaces Simpkin in 17).
I can then use Roberts to have a look at Sam Walker's score against Eels, or CHN.

I also have enough to go Leniu to Curran.

Thumbs Up: Uto + Leniu to Fogarty + Curran
Thumbs Down: Uto + Leniu to TPJ + Gamble

Think he’s been mentioned but what are Mays prospects going forward? Will he always be that 30-40 minute utility with some upside for Round 13?

Think he might be the safest punt for a CTR stopgap

TPJ's recent performances pass the eye test for mine. Seems to be really ripping in and is everywhere on the field in attack and defence. Saw an interview today where he spoke about fixing up his game with all the suspensions he's had in the last couple of years. Keeping that 80 min 2rf role will be key.

Burton looks like a beast out there playing on that left side and seeing alot of attacking opportunities. Could continue to knock out some big scores at centre and then play 1 or 2 games at halfback over the origin period. 4 game average of 64 playing in the halves, could be handy to play in the centres with those big booming kick metres as base stats. Only worry is his job security with Momo back soon but I reckon he keeps his spot on form.

Fantasy logic says there is value elsewhere with both guys  but sometimes the eye test/gut feel trumps logic. IPap at the start of the year is a good example of this. Most people passed up on him with his awkward price.

Burton's JS is a fairly significant worry I would think - especially given Momo is back next week.

It would be a bit frustrating if you paid $536k for a CTR only for them to be benched/dropped for the next 3 games - you'd certainly want to have CTR cover just in case - but if you have CTR cover then I don't really see the point in trading in someone with unknown JS and a BE above their average.

If COVID causes mass disruptions I am sure they'll give us extra trades to deal with it.

If its just 1 game, then will just have to hope for the best, too hard to plan around the unknown

Problem: Have $330k ITB and I need a CTR as I own Hampton, Roberts and Bird. Other issue is I have to play one of Simpkin and Stefano and loop the other with Leniu.

Option 1: 1 trade. Hampton > Averillo or Ramien (Sold Averillo, but thinking I will just suck it up and buy back. If it goes pear shaped, will pick up lomax when he's back). Would still need to play Simpkin and Stefano. Saves a trade

Option 2: 2 trades. Hampton/Niu > Averillo/Mann. Leave $41k in the bank and means I can drop one of Stefano/Simpkin out of the 17. Mann hopefully plays round 13 and will then be traded to a possible gun.

Option 3: 2 trades. Hampton/Niu > Cini/TPJ. Leaves $151k ITB. Have roberts, so if Cini is dropped for Roberts then I'm covered. Plan here would be to trade Cini to Lomax. Risk is Cini doesn't go up in value being on the wing. TPJ would provide further DPP cover as I have no cover for EDG.

I feel Opt 2 will provide the best scores over the next 4 - 5 weeks with Mann making a little more cash than TPJ, but TPJ does offer DPP.

Similar spot with the CTR's mate. I'm looking at cini/BJ for Hampcoin and upgrading a cow to Mann / Fog / AJ.

i was about to post something similar - job security solid and has some upside. very much game dependent though. After whtat roberts has been dishing up May's floor looks appealing.

He's on the consider deeply list for me.

He is definitely one I've considered.

Not sure I can go there, but his job security is a big plus. Has a secure 30-40 minute role in the top team for 20-30 points most weeks. If you just want to take 20-odd points for cheap and not have to think about centre for a while, he's probably your man.

Downside is obviously that he's the first to fill in for most backline injuries and not much of a ceiling.

Would rather chase a bigger upside personally, but if I was going to go cheap he'd be my choice over Cini/Leilua.

That moment when I traded out Averillo after Round 3 and now I'm bringing him back in. Excuse the shittiness.

Fog over Mann is another consideration as was Curran for further cash gen.

The 'doubt' over Walker is his shoulder that he was clutching at half time last week, he finished the game

The 'doubt' over Watson is the big hit he copped last week, he also finished the game
