Crichton has had 29 tackles for about 15 minutes now which is obviously incorrect so he should get a hefty update

I've spent 0 trades on centres this year and only copped a zero when both Teddy and Roberts were out. Luck plays a large part, but I picked 3 unlikely to get dropped (Bird, Roberts, Reimis) and rolled the dice on Niu as 4th option

In years past, starting with cheap CTRs has been a good strategy. Guys like Nikora, Bateman, Lomax, Sivo, Cotric, Ravalawa, Hiku, Gutherson are just some guys I've started the season with as did many others. Other guys like Best, Ramien, Sharks Bird etc. that emerged during the season were all more than serviceable and made a tonne of cash too.
Were Ravalawa and Sivo available as centres? I only remember them being available as wfb.

I did similar with Bird, Roberts, Averillo (no Niu)
Averillo and Bird missed the same week, so I brought in Momirovski rather than cop a 0
Things were good for a few weeks. I was scoring points in CTR and gaining ranks. Momirovski got suspended and I just filled in with Roberts. Not a great score but at least I had a player
That is 1 trade on CTR in the first 7 weeks.
Then Roberts got injured so replaced him with Hampton, who got injured the week after I bought him.
(edit still have Roberts, Hampton came in for someone else)
Now I am preparing the lube for when Momirovski doesn't get picked next week and I have to find someone else again
Potentially going from 1 CTR trade to 4 in the space of 3 weeks

Pretty sure Ravalawa was DPP, but Sivo was just WFB.
Recall that was the basis I went for Rava over Sivo (who ended up being the much better option)

Brutal game.
Roosters so many mistake giving away so much footy, can't beat a team like the Eels doing that.
Credit to the Eels, a lot of teams would have imploded a little bit facing such stout defence for so long, they did well to stay professional and ice the game.
Think Niukore and Brown should face lengthy stints on the sideline, both extremely dangerous contact.
Fantasy wise:

Great effort from the Roosters lads tonight. That's some real resilience and the sign of a well coached team to keep turning up until the death in that sort of game. A lesser team might have lost 50-0

I had both and punted Sivo early thinking Rava was the better option which worked out great.

6/376 with Cleary captain, my halves have absolutely carried my team so far, in fact they were the only two of my six players to score over 40 (my other 4 are Welch's 39, Crichton's 38, Walker's 32 and Teddy's 28)
I did gain a few live ranks but that's almost entirely thanks to Moses's good score. Got almost everything riding on tomorrow though, got all but two of my players then (only Schuster and Bird on Sunday), so it's ride or die.

I was thinking this before the game. Mostly I was thinking, for fucksake can we go a game without Ipap scoring a try, or if he does, can it be from a Moses ball instead of Gutho for a freaking change? Always seems to be a sweep play like Ponga on the left edge.
