Also if Fanhub/Doordash/Harvey Norman give us more trades mid-season again I'm done.
The knowingly went into the season with low trades and small squads. They knew it was very likely that some fantasy teams would struggle to field 17 players at times. There is no excuse for changing their minds again halfway through the year.
Lots of teams lower down the ladder have been saving trades to make a charge in the run home as all the rage traders above them run out of options. Bit of a kick in the face to them if all the top teams get given a free get out of jail card.
As a Finchy-level trader I'd rather fall flat on my face at the end as a consequence of my profligate trading than just get given bail outs (actually I'd rather we were given more trades/larger squads from the outset - but as that isn't possible I'll settle for not changing the rules mid comp)
100%.
I was pretty happy when it happened last year, but that was only my second year playing & first year on here so probably didn't grasp the strategic implications as much - was just happy to field a team at the time.
Would be pissed if it happened again having put more planning/effort in, as carnage at the top/saving trades is my only path back from a disappointing rank so far.

It's amazing how often that happens to players after they come back from a long injury layoff...they usually pick up another injury. It also happened to Staggs who did his hammy too. They must be so focussed on they injured part of their body they put more pressure on another part of their body & they get injured.

Yeah our football season started up again and 10 minutes into the game last week I felt a twinge in my calf/hammy right behind my knee. Played for another 10 but the hobble got the best of me bloody hellWhite Lightning wrote:

Yeah there will definitely be a science behind it, but man the injuries are stacking up in the games, teams can ill-afford training ones. How long before the top 30 becomes a top 35

With all these issues it’s too hard to save trades. We will all run out early.

Maybe Maguire is shifting Doueihi to the ctrs & will tell the new half to not pass him the ball so Doueihi understands what it's like as a ctr when the half is a greeedy bastard & never gives the ctr any ball. Then when Doueihi understands he'll be back in the hlfs.

If they wanted to keep casuals interested then give players the option to accept extra trades. If you accept the trades then your team is removed from overall ladder.
Most casuals have probably stopped logging in anyway and if they do its once a week.
You don't want to piss off the core users that open the app and play with trades 100 times a day. That's where the ad impression numbers are going.

Completely agree mate, i've saved 3 so far and was going to 0 trade this week but it's either going to cost pts now, or at the end so you may as well just wing it and hope the luck changes huh?

"It means the Eels may not train with their full team before they take the field at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday afternoon, but will be allowed to name and use those players who participated in NSW Cup last week."
pretty stupid really.
