You could add some restrictions like if you trade a player out, that player cannot be traded back in or a restriction on how many players you can have from one team.

Agreed. I'm open to changes. Make them in pre-season though. Not half way through.

Most weeks we've only just been able to get a full team on the field without subs due to absences and injuries. So I've pushed myself.
The good thing is that we have a lot of guys returning this week so I can afford a week on the sidelines

Hopefully not at the expense of Leniu returning. Probably is though.

yeah, I don't see him coming back anytime soon truthfully. Sorenson was good too, so not sure why this fella would come in. I don't know anything about him though.

But he is a 50 odd career average fullback on a hot streak. Misses round 13, backs up round 14,  plays round 15, backs up round 16, misses round 17, backs up round 18. Could potentially only get 1 game out of him between 13 and 18

Would Des play his star player once in that time when they've got a shot at top 8? I would think he backs up after origin unless I've misunderstood what you meant

More based on his injury history. Lot of games to play in a 6 week period with short turn arounds

Origin 9th of June 2 days rest
Round 14 Eagles play 11th of June 9 days rest
Round 15 Eagles play 20th of June 7 days rest
Origin 27th of June 6 days rest
Round 16 3rd of July 11 days rest
Origin 14th of July 2 days rest
    Round 18 16th of July

I still think the best balance would be to have 1 trade per week (that you only get access to at the beginning of each round so you can't just blow them all at once), plus an additional 10-12 trades that can be used at any time throughout the season (ie no restriction on the maximum number of trades you can make in a single week).

The NRL has confirmed that Sydney teams will be back to 'level 1' restrictions when they land in Brisbane. Not sure what level 1 means exactly but nsw cup players can join the eels full squad at that point.

So you would think if the Eels just fly to Brisbane early then they  could get some full training sessions in.

Sort of related - the Knights are staying at the sunshine coast for a few days after magic round before heading straight to Townsville. Wont be returning to NEWY in between.

The thing I like about nrl fantasy is the difficulty of it & trade management is part of that. Sure we'd like heaps of trades or maybe unlimited trades but then it would make it easier.

One thing I like to get rid of it the easy way you can loop in this current fantasy model & also the 21 man squads. Go back to the old format with 25 players & no ability to loop.

Werent peiple doing that with Cleary at the start of the year?

Yeah I had Cleary from the start but there have been other instances of passing on players like Papali'i thinking oh the tries are going to dry up or Matterson is back soon.

Thinking that Tommy T is going to come back down to Earth is playing a dangerous game in my mind. I see the argument for not getting him in but at this rate I might as well get in a keeper WFB particularly since he's still sub 700k which isn't a huge premium on his starting price.

I was hoping Walsh would start...when Brown made those comments earlier in the week I thought what he was saying was Walsh has to start.

Would be kind of weird if he went from 80mins last few weeks to dropped. I personally think he’s average but brown seems to be happy with whatever he’s doing

Maybe it's a different interview, what I read didn't give that impression off at all. He seems stuck solid on Kodi and CHT and would be mad to move RTS again. He just might have to bide his time from the bench this year.
