Yeah, the one I read gave the impression he would be used less due to the way he was found out in defense. Not to say that he's a poor defender but just needed more time to develop

Hopefully, there are some late changes and Aitken is an inclusion with Berry to the wing and Kosi out. Berry/Kosi will continue to be targeted otherwise. At least one fast winger would be nice, for once.

When you get older the injury tolls get higher (currently playing in a five a side team with 11 on the books and we haven't had a sub all year) and more long term so you find yourself playing in goal when you have a 'minor injury'

But if you have a chance you should definitely rest (the first COVID break did wonders for me physically )

The rotation has been BMM, Biro, Katoa, Murchie on the other edge though. Curran has been the only constant the last few weeks.

The whole Niko/CHT/Walsh thing just screams of Milf/Croft/Dearden earlier in the season to me.

Switching halves mid-game never works, so Walsh either needs to come on to inject some pace in the middle a la Ponga in Origin - which probably isn't realistic with his defence at this stage - or he's better off developing in reserve grade if Brown is set on CHT/Niko.

I still maintain Walsh showed a better kicking game in one half against the Cowboys than CHT ever his. His nothing kicks that are half chip/half bomb annoy this shit out of me.

100% agree with this. The lack of 5th tackle options is so frustrating as a fan. Either hoof it up high or jag it in along the ground. Giving the opposition 7 tackles out of their own end every set is annoying

So with Smith and Grant both out this week, who is the hooker? Does Cam get a tap on the shoulder?

My view was that he was saying he would have to think carefully about where, when and how much he would use him as he was a kid. I reckon he will get a few full games, a few bench appearances and a few rests.

(I think I had a rant/monologue about this last week when people were saying he was so good he had to play him all the time.....he is 18)
