NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 48 - How about those cheapies hey?

There's a shortage of cheapies but there's a bit of this could be good in a week or two.

Might bring in ponga and captain him

Hampton and SOS out, Turbo and Flegler in

Going to wait and see on Simpkin and Uto - could both easily be back in the team Rd13 when they'll be useful no matter how many minutes they get.

Dodged plenty of bullets this TLT. If Fifita is out, means I’ll have to play two of schuster Watson or Walsh.

Anyone here rate Morgan Harper as a sneaky pick at centre?

Last 4 scores (since Turbo's come back) of 53, 47, 36, 34, 445k, and passes the eye test.

I could go Uto/Momo to Turbo/Harper and have the following team:

20k itb, 19 trades

Brailey
Welch, TPJ, Crichton
Schuster, Fifita
Cleary, Moses
Bird, Harper
Papy, Teddy, Turbo

Doueihi, Watson, Laurie, Walker

Alvaro, Verrills, Simpkin, Cini

Best gamble under $418k?? Is it Gamble? CHN?
Would prefer CTR or HKR but that looks like a wasteland.

This week is exactly the shit that caused them to bail people out with extra trades last year. Yes, perhaps Gerry Harvey could again take a break from being an absolute cunt to come and give us some gratis trades, but alternatively they could consider that perhaps the rules of fantasy need to be updated and modified for the current fast paced, injury riddled state of the game

Wasn’t it because of a pandemic that caused a large pause in play?

No, there was definitely a random week last year, well after the break in round 2, where they gave us two extra trades for because like some reason

I highly doubt that CHN has good job security. Hasnt been in a winning side and that Raiders pack changes every week. Young starting this week at lock will get a chance to prove he deserves a starting spot back.

but Starling with Hodgson on bench does?

I have between 4 and 7 red dots this week, depending on the fates of Fifita, Papy and Walker. Looks like a double trade week again.

Can't really complain about the carnage this week, as everyone is getting hit to various degrees and the punts that I have taken in recent weeks have been paying off with Starling, Curran and iPap holding their starting positions.

Hodgson appears to be out of favour, and Starling looks to be their future. Can see Hodgson playing time at lock as was discussed in the pre-season and maybe some time at the end of the game at hooker. The upside potential of Starling getting big minutes as starting hooker is huge. Has a BE of 2 this week after making $54k last week while adding a 63 to the team score.

Starting hooker for Raiders has played less than 60 minutes without injury once in the last few seasons. I would be surprised if that changes.

I think it was cos something like 10 of the top 20 owned players went down for various reasons over a 2 week period. Lone scout was getting hammered and they gave up the 2 extra trades

Really like Harper and he'd be in my team of I had an extra 30K. He is now in my auto fill team, though, where I had the extra cash. Very good player and scoring well.
