Gamble just needs to perform better than Milford to keep his spot I'd say. Dearden probably won't see much first grade for the rest of the year. Croft is probably going to come back at some point but Gamble has been involved in consecutive good performances so he should be right for the short term.

I'm still 50/50 on trading him.
I don’t have Turbo currently and he’s so highly owned in the top few thousand ranks. I went flying down the rankings not owning him the last 3 weeks.

With the way the game has sped up and he’s Manly’s go to guy he looks close to must have doesn’t he?

I can see him missing one game to rest over origin like D. Fifita will. So Tommy T likely to play 6 of next 9 weeks whilst D. Fifita likely to play 4 out of next 9 rounds. I think Tommy T will make up more points to justify the trade.

I probs should’ve went Pap to Tommy T 3 rounds ago but too late now.

If anyone can tell me why I should get someone else over Tommy T please go ahead?

If I get Tommy T my backline 1-7 is set.

Only need to do 1 trade to field 17 (if Walker plays), but think going double R13 guns looks like the play. Fifita to Moses my first trade, leaving 336k ITB.

Then have a reasonably long list of trade out options. I had planned to trade out Utoikamanu, Crichton, Croker and one of Walker/Schuster prior to R13. Possibly add Simpkin or Roberts to that list now.

    Second trade out this week:
Utoikamanu: Peaked in price. Red dot, but may be back for R13
Croker: Peaked in price. Definite trade before R13
Walker: Cash still to be made. Hold, unless selling to get up to iPap
Schuster: Peaked, but good coverage for R17 and beyond
Simpkin: Cash still to be made, if he gets back into the team, may be back R13
Roberts: Would like to get rid of him but can't get a second gun as he isn't worth enough. No obvious cashouts.

I think it is really between Croker and Utoikamanu. Would want an edge if trading so bring Crichton back to the bench. Will be tossing up between Matterson/Luciano/Pangai like everyone else. I'd love IPap, but don't want to pull the trigger on Walker too early.

You guys see any other plays there?

Stef, I like Gamble this week as a cow option. His JS should be okay for the near future as Walters said that he is going to stick solid with this halves pairing.

I feel I've missed the boat on Turbo so have given up on him. Think he is scoring well over what he will finish the season averaging, and doesn't play R13 and likely in origin so misses 17 too.

Keeping Fifita I think. Trades are going to be too much of a premium this year to trade out someone who has a 2 week suspension then trading him back in later when there will be guys getting injured or dropped throughout the year who will need to be traded. Grant is different for me since he is simply not going to be worth it until he plays 80, which may not happen at all.

He also said Milford would be in reserve grade for 4 weeks and we know how that turned out, so I'd take anything he says with a grain of salt. That being said, cow options are limited and Gamble is as good as any.

That's fine, bit don't freak out when you have less numbers than others for round 13.

Even though the smart aggressive approach is probably trade, I still like the option of holding. However is he going to make up the points to bring back the ranks you drop when traders get a leg up?

The best time to trade someone in is before they score 100+

Thats why i traded in Tino AFTER he scored 81

Yeah wouldn't surprise me if he gets another 100 this week, but can see him ending up on a high 50's average.

For those tossing it up, head over the to TU/TD thread to weigh on whether to hold or sell DiFi.

I'm slightly surprised how many people have missed the boat on turbo, I had him ready to go all pre season and got him the week he returned some people are just worth the risk. I knew of risk the same as everyone else, but I feel like there are certain points in every season you can't afford to get wrong and if to many of them stack up you never stood a chance, ipap gave me that vibe so 1/2 ain't to bad hope for another banner against the broncos to keep them price rises going plan on a trade out in Rd 13

I don't think it's too late to get Tommy T. You've blown it big time like me not getting him cheaper but he's still cheaper than other gun WFB options who are also Origin contenders.

Ponga probably going to be the QLD 1. To'o is a good chance of getting a spot on form. Latrell is also a good chance I'd say.

Obviously someone was worth the risk if that risk has now paid off.

Exactly. If he got injured again or scored 30's, we'd be the ones laughing and saying I told you so.

Scores of 67 , 65 , 50 , 100 , and massive threat of a going big again he is there main point in attack and looks like he is in arguably career best form I don't think 60 / 70s is unrealistic and believe he goes a lot higher then 50
