    Fifita to tohu locked.

Now to work out if I go Simpkin to starling.

    Red dot to green dot
    Average to quality
    Tigers to raiders

All pretty strong arguments. Idea of saving a 5th trade also appealing.

The only reason for holding Simpkin would be if I’m he plays first bye. But do I hold a player who is only going to score 40 max in a single week, for a player who will score 40 more than him this week, and likely a few more after that.

I'm gonna throw it up. Can't figure it out. 1st trade Fifita to Matterson.

    Brailey
    Haas Watson Welch
    Schuster Matterson
    Cleary Moses
    Peachey Bird
    Teddy Turbo Laurie

    Fogarty Crichton Pangai Walker

    Walsh Alavaro Roberts Simpkin 328k

I don't need a second trade, if Walker out I'll loop Walsh and Alvaro. But that 328k is burning a hole in my pocket. Whatever I do, I want about 100k left for Welch to Koro next week. Thinking Roberts to Starling or Flegler. Don't mind the look of Schuster to Lolo though for something different. Thoughts?

How many trades left? I'd be incline to hold if you can field 17.

I find it interesting that Matto is much more in favour than TPJ.

Edit: just realised Mulvy has TPJ already.

I didn't go for CHN the same reason i am leaning away from Starling at the moment. Who knows what that Raiders pack will look like in 3 weeks, CHN has just as much chance of becoming useless as Starling does

Probably I also needed to trade a CTR in that week too, just to field a team.

I'd consider going a week early on Welch to Koro. Koro probably scores an extra 10-15 points on Welch (that Storm bench though) and the price difference probably only gets 10-15k closer.

With Roberts only long term red dot(I'm assuming Simpkin returns) I would probably hold him. If you planned to hold Schuster through round 13 moving him on to Lolo would give you a points boost and same number of players for bye, although I'd probably go Tohu for some security in minutes.

Tough week for 2nd trade it might be worth just banking

FWIW: I did Fifita and Stefano OUT and Matterson and Starling + 300K IN on Wednesday and haven't even looked at my team since. I have saved 4-5 trades already so probably can take the gamble as I haven't really taken any yet

Who was the legend that did that analysis post on CTR's and their base stats? What page was it on?

Yep... I'm curious to see what impact Arthur has on Moses' gameplay. You would expect Moses to take most of the kick meters with the limited training sessions they'll have before gameday

Yup, this is very good advice. I take that to mean both projecting out trades and cash flow. It takes a bit of effort to do this. And the shitty thing is, you invariably have to re-do the analysis each week as curve balls get thrown at you. It's well worth it though.

I also suspect, from reading this thread, and helpfully recalling previous seasons well enough, that the end game that people are aiming for in terms of final squad, might have to be tempered a little, due to all the injuries and subsequent trades burnt, meaning cash generation this year may well be quite a bit lower than usual. All just a hunch though as Im not actually playing in the NRLF comp this year.

Would that be correct MS? I mean in past seasons you'd be hoping for close to a gun 17 + a solid 18th man, maybe another average player for cover at 19, and then two red dots from about round 19. Is that looking possible this year?

I've only banked 3 trades, making the Starling risk even greater I've realised.

I personally am still aiming for a pretty good final squad but my bye rounds are going to suffer. It won't be an ideal 17, but it very rarely is across all positions.
Spending so many trades on injuries means I can't afford to bring someone in just for a couple of weeks over byes though
