Should go close to $300k before the bye and will be a good MID/EDG cover going forward.

Solid idea, good depth is hard to come by.

Peachey deadset has to be 1 of my worst trades I got him when he was over 600k 2 rounds ago & he's scored 39 & 27 & will probably be suspended. It will be hard not to rage trade him even if he's suspended only 1 week. My trades this week will probably be Peachey & Simonsson to an affordable ctr that will allow me to buy Walsh.

    Nah, not taking the piss.
I genuinely think a lot of good fantasy coaches have been dudded early on by the way some things have panned out - just got to keep driving forward and see how everything balances out after the byes...

It's a bit like the low percentage-play options that in most years are a bad play, seem to just come off this year.
Then there's plenty of high-percentage options that are usually a better long-term play, but just end up tanking this year.

Aside from the injury toll, I do think it exacerbated by a bit of unpredictability with new incoming coaches at: Broncos, Warriors, Cowboys, Dragons, Bulldogs, Sharks

I don't think he's going to be playing again until after the bye, tbh.

Just had a look at the League 1 ladder where I am doing a stoic job holding up the table despite having the 8th or 9th best overall position.....I think it's a good reflection on how my year has gone.

I also get the feeling that the slow, rational, conservative decision making process that normally keeps me there or thereabouts has failed miserably so far this year (looking at the overall scores in L1 it looks like it might be the same for a few others). I have even ditched my usual weakness for picking up every cheap half that gets a run Very Happy

Minor recovery this week though geek so hopefully it's a slow crawl up the table (suspensions notwithstanding) once the byes hit

I was just thinking about this as I posted my trade history in team tracker for a bit of a review. Havent really made any obviously poor decisions other than grabbing Tino. The other poor trade was Fui but the reasoning was sound at the time... sort of. In the past I'd made much worse trades early on and still be flying at this point. I think the biggest error I've made this year is *not* jumping on IPAP/Walsh/etc, that conservative ish approach.

We'll see what happens over bye rounds I guess.

Edit as a whole ive just not gone with the right group of guys.

Managed to avoid most of the carnage this round with a score of 1110.
    I can't lie, I would've liked 1 more point for the palindrome.
Only good enough for 3rd in the party league - but happy to earn 14 points for my 3? Fantasy fantasy owners.

The biggest flop was Milford (27) and I may have to figure a way not to play him the next two weeks (Storm & Roosters).

Up to 2494 #MarchOfTheTigs has begun

Im going to bench Flegler and Milford. With BS9 back and one trade simpkin to Starling i can hide them.

Walker can play, he will probably carve up the Broncos

Sounds like Browns preference is to keep playing Walsh from the bench and moving RTS to the wing. Not good for RTS owners like myself.
Also you sort of need to treat Walsh as a high ppm cash cow. Could you play him in your 17 each week knowing he wont play 80? Can he keep scoring tries to save his scores?

1020 for the round (thank you Chin). Lost 3 in a row in my H2H league, dropping ranks so need to pick up another gun ASAP to stop the slide.
Overall rank is still going backwards - down to 4868 (1735 in Rd. 6).
After holding Momo for 3 rounds and playing 16, he gets dropped.
Traded to Burton (to fund Starling with 2nd trade) and he scores an outstanding 15.
Held Pappy and played him, leaving Walsh (75) in Emg. cheer

Pappy > Tohu is my only trade this week.
Means I'm still holding Roberts / Stimson / Verills.
I'll use Fifita for unmentionable play to look at Laurie / Alvaro to pick the best score for my 17th player.

Time for the Bludgers to pull the proverbial out of the other proverbial me thinks.

Watched a vid from the press conference that seemed to lean to Walsh maybe playing more fullback, even starting. There was nothing concrete either way that he said though. Don't see the point of wasting a bench spot on Walsh and have him come in 30 minutes into the game. Just play him from kickoff.

Trading in Macca last week lost me $36k off the bat. Think it was still a good trade, hope he's alright this week and plays 80 in a close game against the Sharkies.

It probably will be fine and he'll average 55 like I brought him in for, however I can see this going extremely south and the trading blowing up in my face!

Need a centre for under 413k. Might just go with Hoppa... only 3 scores under 30 in 10 games and has DPP. Reckon he's the best option for that price? (h2h)

Yeah same same, haven't jumped on the punts like Ipap & Walsh and have had a bunch of slowish burners like Kolo/Croker/Lodge/Sitili who, while doing alright in the $$ stakes and scoring wellish, haven't supplied the quick mega points consistently.

Also held guys like Pap when probably should have traded

I can do Egan to Starling but I really shouldn't be trading green dots out at this point.

why is Luke Thompson's ownership so low?

Averaging 55 at Prop. or am I missing something? Does his role/minutes change when Jackson eventually returns?
