    Stefano to Starling

Not sure what to do with my second trade. Have 183k in the bank. Could turn a red dot like Roberts into a money maker like CHN. Could trade out Papenhuyzen.

Think I'll have a no trade week for once.

Have probably missed Starling unless you expect him to play 80. Priced around 40, which is probably what he'll score if he gets 60 minutes when Hodgson properly back (I'd expect a 1-2 game ban) - and he's just as likely to get fewer minutes as more.

Papy I suppose I'll have to hold for the season. Doubt I'll have the money/trades to get both him and Difi back post-origin so will take the minor hit now rather than the big hit then.

became available at a time when more urgent trades were required by coaches and "better" options were available.
    Also doesn't play 13. He looks like a good pick-up post rd13

Im going to bench Flegler and Milford. With BS9 back and one trade simpkin to Starling i can hide them.

Walker can play, he will probably carve up the Broncos

    Sounds like a good play.

I was going to just hold trades, but with so few decent R17 options Starling is likely a good grab (I am thinking for Roberts who may play R13 and still only net ten points).

    Just on Milford, I had a quick look at his 3 weeks prior to his reserve-grade-refresher vs the 3 weeks since;
Tackle efficiency: 86% (previous) down to 83% (recent)
Running metres: 88MG down to 39MG
Kicking metres: 433KM down to 245KM

So essentially the break where he was meant to find his game, improve his defence, run more and better kicking game management has resulted in less involvement and less confidence on his return (IMO).

It's a pity, because I thought his involvement was improving prior to that...

I think people are more concerned with getting in guys like Walsh, iPap, Cini, Hampton, Moses, Haas, Starling

Thompson was more of a luxury trade.

I did bring him in, but I think there were possibly better options that could have been picked at the time

Had planned 1 trade Stefano to Koro & will probably stick with that.

Is Walker to Starling sideways for a second trade?

Or could just clear out my bank on Roberts to Starling.

If Schuster moves to 5/8th with Foran injured, does that help or hurt his scoring?

You'd think he loses a lot of his base in tackles & not sure how many KM he picks up next to DCE. With a BE of 40 might be time to move on?

How likely is he to move if Foran is out? Or would Cust/Croker move to the halves?

Hynes is still pretty tempting with a -9 BE and round 13 in mind.

I can see why his manager is currently only in 'talks' with the Broncos. Every game he plays at the moment is giving him leverage

Won’t he go back to interchange though in round 12 if Munster and Pap are back?

Pretty much this and the fact everytime he was bought up Jackson and othrrs were mentioned whuch may stunt his longterm viability.

What do people think of Mahoney's Origin chances?

In great form, Grant a little underdone and coach Green historically runs with a 2 hooker team. A Grant/Hunt combo might be more likely though.

Thinking about getting in early on Mahoney even though he still has some cash to drop.

I've been scouting him out this week (I was also scouting him last week but TBH I wouldn't have played him with Papy in so held fire) as I reckon he gets a few decent games over the Origin & Bye period

Big 'if' in my opinion given Storms history of being conservative with injuries and even if he does I'm thinking of holding Pap and then Hynes comes back in for 13

I either heard or read sometime/somewhere over Magic Round that Munster's injury was worse than being let on... grain of salt stuff though

I'd say slim to none, they would prefer Hunt as he can cover halves as well

Tied for best move I have made all year, with May. Gr8 coverage and solid centre scoring from May given the shit show everywhere else. Yay I turned that into a brag whilst ranked 10k !
