But if Walsh keeps playing fullback and shunting RTS to the wing, then you probably want to move RTS on.

Thanks Milch. I'll see what TLT spits out then probably throw up my team with my thoughts after I knock off.

What a weekend. Was on the right end of a few decent scores, minus Pappy who now likely misses another week! Ended up on 1137 and moved from 4794 to 2588. Let's see if we can keep this momentum going.

Fifita and Stefano > Starling and Matterson seems like a masterstroke so far. 300K in the kitty, will wait on TLT before I look into my next steps. With all these injuries and suspensions there will be a few cows coming into pastures.

I'm hoping, I'm playing Fantasy... if Burton is immoveable I hope there is some other shuffle that suits Momo. I don't make all my choices based on stats, never. I personally find posts like Milch's above insulting, and they are pretty frequent, like a chip on the shoulder that won't go away.

I’m happy to speak without fantasy lens momentarily, as I think it’s overstated to think we’re only thinking fantasy.

Panthers sent Daine Laurie away to buy Momirovski
Burton on the other hand (a half playing out of position) is committed to 3yr deal at the dogs
Burton managed all of 40metres at the weekend and conceded a couple of penalties to boot in their 40pt win.
Momo had 3 tries himself in first few games.

I think the narrative that has been around Momo being at risk was rescued by a suspension.
He was as nailed on as they come early rounds

Quite an interesting comparison. Last season Matterson started the year putting out scores in the 50s however once he started getting some tries, bulk tbs + offloads or monster tackle counts he boosted to being a 60+ guy

Lucy this year started similar with a chunk of scores in the 50s without any big attacking stats. His tries have both come from falling onto a kick in goals, but he has been inches away from going over with a few hanging off a couple of times. I think it's only a matter of time before he crashes over for an 80 point performance and those averages look pretty similar in the short term. I do think Matterson is more likely to have bulk attacking stats than Lucy in the longer term so I think I prefer him as a player, but over a 6 week period Lucy can easily match or better him

If you are going both before 13 follow the break evens and grab Matterson this week. If you can only have 1 I think it's Matterson outright

Matterson's injury history only bothers me slightly (got him last week). I, like you, will have a bunch of rd 13 players over the bye rounds that need trading to rd17 players. I don't necessarily know who the fodder will be yet, but the injuries and suspensions are bound to continue so whoever gets injured or suspended becomes a rd17 player. If it was Matterson with another concussion he would be traded straight out. Just have to hope IF that happens, that it happens post rd13.

Interested in Mahoney, Lucy, Koro, Macca, Ipap, and To’o but all of them probably better to bring in next week due to high breakevens. Might swap Paps for one this week, looking like he could be bought back for much cheaper with one more sub par game.

Sorry if I offended in any way Rev.  Of course a lot of the talk here has a fantasy ulterior motive, but it's hard to see the basis on why Momo would come back in now.  If Burton hadn't been as impressive as he had been, he would have just been keeping the seat warm.  It's shit, as Momo shouldn't have been suspended and if he didn't, he'd still be lining up.  I guess Cleary wants to keep Burton on the field as he'll be filling in the halves a lot over Origin.

I really don't remember much about him other than when his head was on he was a good broken-field player, and the mtvb site doesn't go that far back for stats...

Honestly thought he was about 35, but turns out he's only 30.

I think Palasia is probably a career reserve grader to be honest.

Didn't even think about this! Pappy BE around 100, may only have 1 game before Origin, then possibly half a game after Origin (most likely plays the whole game though). Could be around 700K by R14-15 and allow me to boot Pappy and Roberts for the likes of Haas and Lucy

Besides the raiders this week, storm's next 5 are pretty weak and can't see them forcing paps back anytime soon, esp with Hynes doing a decent job slotting in at FB. Paps is a sell for me.

Counterpoint: Storm's next five are pretty weak, Paps will score gajillions if he plays.

From a non fantasy perspective, I agree with this.

Burton was a temp fill in who undoubtedly took his opportunity and unfortunately for Momo owners, has pretty well forced Cleary's hand.

I'm also glad Cleary doesn't take into account where he is signed to play next season - that is one of my pet hates.
He sis signed to the Panthers this year and is playing well.

Does make it a tough call for Momo owners though. He will definitely play Rd 13 and given the plethora of injuries/suspensions this year could get a start at any time.
