There is a possibility Burton loses his spot later in the season as he is on the way out. But I would expect Cleary snr to want to have him match fit over the Origin period at least.

Doubt "being on the way out" matters is a team that's going for the title. They're playing for this year not building for next.

Trading in burton for R13 then trading him out straight after also seems like a good idea.

Biased but his form has been unreal this year - and Grant hasn’t been on the park a lot

I wouldn’t touch Mahoney this week due to that risk, also he has a massive BE. I’m looking at him post R12 right before the bye round once Origin is confirmed or not

yeah I've got a few fringe Origin players in my team atm, just hoping that they won't get selected.

Yep. Not making my Rnd 13 gun trade until after Origin teamlists. I also think Mahoney will get a Maroons gig with Grant on the bench.

Someone I'm keeping an eye on is Nathan Brown, who may or may not get Origin, is well underpriced, and frees up more cash for Watson/Laurie etc upgrades.

Cam smith called for mahoney 9, grant bench, so probably happens.

With Grant not fully fit youd think thats the smart move
