Getting Starling first makes sense given BEs and all, but I still can't help but think going backwards in terms of R13 numbers isn't the play. Then again, no guarantee Simpkin plays at all, and Stefano surely comes back at some point, so it probably works out the same either way?
If I go through with that, it leaves me with:
Brailey
Tohu Crichton Watson
Lucy Matto
Cleary Moses
Avo Kelly
Ted Laurie Walsh
Fog Starling Walker Schuster
Stefano Roberts Leniu Pap
20 trades, 101k
In an ideal world, Stefano, Roberts, and Leniu find their way back in, and Schuster, Walker, Walsh & maybe Crichton make way for R13 players for 14-15 playing the first bye.
Is that a reasonable plan, or just get the better JS, R13 gun while you can?
I was gunning for round 13 too but ended up trading both Stefan and Simpkin to get Starling. There's no point holding out for a potential 30 points from both in round 13 when Starling and Koro in your case could net 50 points each now. Starling is a great price and it's not worth holding out on potentially a couple of extra points in round 13. Those points aren't even garunteed also as neither are in the 17 again as you know. Why take 2 steps back now when you could possibly only take 1 step forward again in round 13.
