because our teams are identical, i have the same problem. I was going to hold. If he misses 3 weeks, one of them is a bye round. No one that i want who is a straight swap.

I figure id hold one week, get an idea on recovery, wait for others to drop in price. To'o, Mahoney, Macca, Fog. All capable of dropping money in the next week or so.

The Monthly is round 9 to round 13. You need a solid score in each of these 5 rounds.
I think I've got a shot, but you have been scoring better than my team the last 2 rounds so you are ahead of me

In a tough spot atm only got 8 players for rnd 13 and 15 trades with only 17k itb after trades this week. Got pap and fifita outside my 17 this week what I could trade for upgrades for rnd 13.

Thinking I'll take the hit in rnd 13 and hope the heavy traders get burnt in the way home to finish strong

What's your aggregate for 9 & 10 and expected number players for 13?

I'm at 2,117 and currently have 15 potential R13 players - but 4 are very tenuous to say the least (Milf, Simpkin, Uto & Roberts)

We've been so deprived of base-price cash cows since Simpkin in R6, so far it's been the year of the middie sub-gun cash cows. Pretty peculiar. Really just Walsh since then who carried risk

If I trade my way to 17 round 13 players I will have 0 round 17 players in my team

aggregate is 2025, expected number for rd13 hopefully is 17.

Alright, read all your comments. Seems people are mostly leaning towards trading him but my gut is saying I should just hold because it does feel like a luxury trade in my position.

So I think my plan is going to be this. Currently I'm looping Laurie and Gamble. If Laurie goes well (say 45+), then I just take Laurie's score and not trade Pap because the r13 gun I get wont outscore that by a lot.

If Laurie goes poorly, then I'll trade Pap to someone like Hughes.

Doesn't sound like a bad plan does it?

I went onto news on NRL.com and the first article was a video with the title "CHT sidelined indefinitely" I got excited (of course I don't like to hear people getting injured but for fantasy I was happy) then I clicked on the video and it was from March. Reloaded the page and it was gone. I just got baited by NRL.com

I'm 2131 with 16 players for round 13. Might go harder then planned if I'm a genuine shot at monthly

I’m not getting anymore round 13 guys after this weekend I’ll have 10 and hope Roberts or Simpkin is back to give me 11 players and a few more points.

I need to start being really careful on trades next round on. Same happened last year and then I had to be really disciplined.

I will try bringing in a few guys for round 17 though to maybe give me 7-8 round 17 scorers.

I probs won’t have quite a full team of keepers either but it is what it is.

Re Starling if he keeps looking like a 70-80mins player and scoring around 55 I can bring him in for Macca come round 14-15.

If Walsh starts at FB as well I may get him in for Laurie after round 13 as well.

haha yea was so surprised when I saw how similar our teams were. i was initially in the same boat and think I still am definitely holding unless walsh ends up starting I think

Yeah, I'm thinking the same thing.
It does make me second guess bringing in Starling this week though (as that would pretty much end any chance I play 17 in R13).
