NRL Fantasy 2021 Part 54 - Flippity Floppity Boo

Leaning towards SuperPOD out.

His history at centre is:
60s with 2 tries
40s with 1 try
20s with 0 tries

Can get more bang for my buck. The problem is I may have to play Simo for 1-2 weeks 

I think I’ll get Burton as my CTR this week purely because I’d prefer Burton at half in Round 13 as opposed to a CTR in Round 13

I was aiming for 16 originally, being:

Doueihi, Laurie, NULL

Brooks, Milford, Simpkin, Roberts

Unfortunately the last 2 weeks has pretty much wiped out 3 of those players...

I may edge myself 1 player closer, and then make a call based on how the next 2 weeks go

Not having Momo is absolutely killing me.

Being forced into bringing in a CTR this close to the byes is rotten luck

Will depend on how the next 2 weeks shake out. Few low scoring rounds and 13 will be even more important

On the monthly talk, current leader for May only has 11 R13 players if everyone played, including a few 'interesting' picks (Blore, Liam Martin, Brooks, still holding Riki) and only really Brailey out of the likely R13 captaincy candidates. So there's certainly ground to be made up.

Man Burton is definitely looking enticing as a buy.

Huge points in R13 when he plays at half, and assuming he's centre every other round. If Momo gets back in though that would piss me off to no end because I'd be trading Momo > Burton lol

I think I'm still leaning towards Manu though.

But it is very tempting

EDIT: Burton has a 59 BE so could wait a week - but most of us need a CTR this week which is why we're all looking at him this week I guess... hmm

I mean if I have both Burton and Crichton as centres one or the other will end up with a pie

If no injuries/suspensions next week then I'll probably hold fire on trades and then use 4 (or maybe just 3) in round 13 (crichton, 2/3 of schuster/walker/simonsson/roberts) to put 15 on the park. (or more if Roberts/Papy were to play.. assuming no)

Burton's scores without tries are very concerning though (at CTR)

He doesn't do the hard yards or make a lot of tackles. He's only there to finish plays

Yeah, I outlined that yesterday, and that put me off.

Leaves me with 9 after round 17 to get Haas, Dfifita and Papy/Ponga

I think it's worth having a shot at the May Monthly in my position.

I think Burton might be a next week buy, play him for 13 and 14 (hopefully they give Cleary a rest but I don’t see it) and then sell to a round 17 gun.

That might be the safest way to go
