Cheaper, and with better job security

I'd say so. I've got Walsh already, but I could totally see him finding a spot all year, he already has, and as you say he's cheaper. Hynes could play all year too but probably has an expiration date. I'm strongly considering bringing him in, but probably Walsh if I had to choose.

TU - Walker > iPap and save a trade (16) or
TD - Walker / Simpkin > TPJ / CHN (removes a red dot in emg but down to 15 trades)

    Not playing bye rounds

My favourite option this week I think, is due for an 85-pointer

You forgot the high ceiling. Yes I think worth a punt.

With Papy's concussion, wondering how likely it is that Hynes and Papy is a repeat of iPap and Matterson.

Thoughts on trading Simpkin or Alvaro out for Luke Thompson?

I think you might as well hold Alvaro for the R13 points, but it definitely looks like Simpkin is on the outer so if you're going to trade anyone it might as well be him. I know you need a MID, so are you looking at Thompson with R17 in mind? Or just looking at this week? If you're happy with your R13 numbers then the trade itself, in a vacuum, is a good one.

With Crichton news, think I’ll move Simpkin for Keenan
Palasia. -11 BE, scored 63. Could see another 80mins this week and should get a couple more?

Cheers bud. Seems a high risk-reward pick, and with forwards missing for origin probably stays in there somewhere for 13 at least but prob not worth the money or points if not at least some hope of keeping a spot

If AJ Brimson and Flegler are picked I’m never doing bye planning ever again. Will just write off 2 rounds a season

Yep, just like that period where Matto was supposed to be back soon each week making iPap high risk as he was too short term but turned out to be high reward, replace Matto with Papy and iPap with Hynes. Was just wondering how likely that scenario plays out again. Hope that makes more sense.

That was my initial thoughts after TLT, might just be better off getting Tohu and saying fuck R13

Yeah I’ve just seen that. I don’t trust these bloody designations. Indefinite this week and back next week?

You’d be hoping Ramsey has an absolute blinder and holds the spot

Flicking Welch and Simp for Hynes and Twal. Would have preferred Thompson over Twal but was out of my price range. Twal plays r13 and long overdue some big scores anyway.

He'll move into the middle rotation wont he? He might play 80 but still big minutes

Not sure what to do with Crichton. If I hold him then I have 3 mids but only cover would be Leniu.

If moving him to a rd13 mid I think I would go Nathan Brown. But would far rather grab Macca. I suppose I can just aim to bring in a gun rd17 mid (Tohu) in round 14 so coverage would not really be an issue in the meantime. That probably makes the most sense.

But not sure yet if I'll even trade him
