Trading out Papy and Stefano means I can grab two guys in that 600-700k region. Position irrelevant this time. Lucy and Macca are my current ins but can be swayed.

    Thoughts?

I've gone Lucy - need a forward to cover Angus and most of the other R13 options have doubts over possible origin selection (or minutes/role for the cheaper ones). Lucy is serviceable as a final 17 player anyway.

Do you have Walsh + Hynes, or are comfortable going without them?

Thompson is a step below the proper guns, but is at a decent price and definitely no origin to worry about.

    I'd trade Simpkin before Alvaro

Alvaro should at least play R13, and its close enough now to be worth holding him.

Simpkin is probably waiting on Liddle to go down injured before he gets another shot (at least in near future) More likely to have a low minute bench role.

    Thanks for replying mate.

I have Walsh and I’m doing S. Walker to Hynes. Then when Hynes has to go in around a month I’ll get Tohu.

I’ll look to Simpkin to Thompson. I know if I do it though Simpkin will be back starting next week.

Re Alvaro he was named in the 16 jersey last week and dropped out to 18th man. I hop that doesn’t happen again this week.

I think I’ll pass on Lolo this year.

Thompson, AFB and Tohu are on my list for round 17 and I need to get back Pap. I’m now starting to realise I won’t be able to get D. Fifita back in but it is what it is.

I’ll be holding Schuster all year if he stays fit and CHN if he keeps his spot. Same with Brailey, Haas, Angus, Cleary, Moses, Bird, Teddy, Tommy T, Peachey, Thompson, Simo I’ll hold all year as WFB cover as well.

I'm not trading him so not really relevant for me in the short term. If you are gonna trade Walker it has to be this week IMO. Going to bleed cash for the next 6 weeks due to that low score. Will need a few high ones to rebound

Of that list I imagine it most likely

    8. Welch
    10. Tino
    13. Arrow
    14. Utility
    15. Su’a
    16. Other
    17. Other
Will Su’a make it though? He’s been very poor for Souths this year and has just been dropped. His workrate and his defence have been poor.

Pap to Hynes locked in as trade #1.

For trade #2 weighing up Walker to iPap vs Stefano to TPJ.

If it wasn't for Origin uncertainty, I'd probably clear out the red dot and keep Walker, but the TPJ origin talk has me worried. Can't even wait til next week as I need a mid with Crichton out.

Someone want to sway me either way?

Couple questions floating round my head this week.

Trading paps to hughes with one trade. Have 300k itb for the second and need a mid to cover angus.

Bench/BE has me nervous about IPAP

Dont mind the look of Bsmith for similar points potential but would likely cost 2 trades in and out.

Would need to do curran for either one of those options (is he a sell with afb to return shortly?)

Otherwise could do deitz who hasnt been doing much for me to jackson ford - who really impressed me last week

    So questions.

    Is BSmith a Buy?
    Is Curran a sell?
    Is Ford worth the trades?

What’s the general consensus on palasia? Obviously if riki comes back his minutes will reduce but TPJ could play origin?

This needs an upvote - true in so many ways.
TPJ effectively shut Fifita down when the Broncs played the Titans a couple of weeks ago.
He's a big, nasty unit who enjoys the niggle.
The current trend means even relatively civilised edge forwards like Crichton are being rubbed out for innocuous tackles, so Freddie may as well run with the grub who is going to put some fear into the Maroons halves and centres.

Nrl casualty ward has AFB back round 19-20. I thought someone on here said he is back sooner?

Who would you get rid of first out of Stefano and Simpkin.

Basically who is most likely to get a run next week with decent enough minutes to score well

I'd love to get him in if he had any job security but Riki and Glenn are ahead of him and there's no guarantee about TPJ in origin or Lodge to the Knights.
