13 trades left... why so little.. i thought I was in a bad shape.

How many are you using for Rd 17? Carrying Cini rest of season? I feel you are in a really rough spot, much like myself.

    Burn the trades baby!

Nah I have 16 trades atm. Will mostly be targetting rd17 keepers of which there aren't too many.
There won't be many teams with plenty of rd17 players, unless you're MS

    me with Walsh.

I think I can wait til after round 13 though at this point, despite low BE.

he's already priced at 38 ish though. I still think his scoring settles down a little, and if it does, its not like he's a must grab at current price. probably end up the worst decision of my season along with Turbo

I aint going to make up ground bringing in the same players as everyone else though.

Hynes wants 1 million over 3 years? fuck me. give him 1.2 to sign the contract today.

1 mil over 3 years is well unders based on what he has shown. If Walsh was signed on 500k with no first grade played Hynes should be atleast 600k a year

But we've seen with Turbo, yes bringing him in won't get us ahead, but not having him will make us fall behind. I'm banking and praying he gets rested, but unless he regresses, it's not going to get better.

You're contemplating Crichton for Walsh? I think Walsh is a must have and will be starting from here on.

Crichton to Hynes is warming on me. I'm starting to fear that the money Hynes will make outweighs the risk. We say 150K is worth a trade and he still could make that in 3 weeks. Who knows about Pappy though, so many conflicting reports but that would only mean he's back later than sooner knowing the Storm. I have Haas, Watson, IPap, Matto and Schuster so can afford Crichton to Hynes, but it's risky.

Leaning more towards holding Crichton and trading out Papy instead, just annoys me that Papy plays first so I have to pull the trigger this afternoon. Would be nice to be able to wait and see if I could get through this week without trading..

I agree re Turbo, can't do much about it now, will hope Manly give him a few rests..

Who are you planning to turf for Fifita? I really love the Burton pick up in your CTRs. Thoughts on Brimson playing Origin this year?

On Brimson I’m hoping he is overlooked this year, which probably means he’s first on the team sheet haha

Burton is my planned trade this week and I’m slightly worried about the Origin utility chatter surrounding him, so I may still pull out of it this week and go next week when we have the teams.

Will probably use a combination of R13 players or Pappy to get Fifita back in

I'd go Pappy out before Crichton mate.

I'm starting to lean on the side of caution too in regards to Burton. I think if Munster isn't deemed fit which there is talk he may not be, you may be in trouble regarding Brimson next week.

I think with the number of players missing due to injury and suspension, trades are now worth more than $150k. Most trades this season are going to be due to these factors, not strategic trades. Really changes the equation significantly on how much your discretionary trades need to make
