No origin would really screw up trade selections
Origin won't be cancelled, they'll just move it if they need to.

Who knows about Pappy though, so many conflicting reports but that would only mean he's back later than sooner knowing the Storm. I have Haas, Watson, IPap, Matto and Schuster so can afford Crichton to Hynes, but it's risky.

I'm starting to lean on the side of caution too in regards to Burton. I think if Munster isn't deemed fit which there is talk he may not be, you may be in trouble regarding Brimson next week.

Yeah definitely think Brimson plays. I started with him so it’s not like I can angry that I traded in an origin player. *looks at TPJ*

I don't see it unless there is another injury/suspension (probs)
1 Ponga 2 Holmes 3 Gagai 4 Capewell 5 Coates 6 Munster (Hunt) 7 DCE 14 Grant
my opinion is they won't start the game with Grant who hasn't played a game in 4 weeks.

I think with the number of players missing due to injury and suspension, trades are now worth more than $150k. Most trades this season are going to be due to these factors, not strategic trades. Really changes the equation significantly on how much your discretionary trades need to make

He needs to average about 52 over 3 weeks to make 150k right? Hmm that is certainly do-able. Just hard with WFBs because as we know any of them can go low any week. Eg he did have a 36 against the sharks.
It's a tricky one, I'm really not sure. I wish I knew if Brimson was playing origin and I'd just flick him for Hynes now for basically the same price

Agree in some regards. Also just think there is a bit more Mattnz tactic of finding diamonds in the rough + getting lucky with injury/suspension. Need more than the usual top 17 + 18th man + 3 red dots strategy
Picking up guys who might avg 5 pts less than the "top tier" may pay off if you can get a better overall 21 together and not be dropping 100pts per week for hte last 3 weeks because you're only playing with 15 players.

Also I'm only getting out-and-out guns or DPPs from here on in. Can't afford to have a squad player covering only one position.

Yeah I'm playing the same game, at least I hope.
Verrills is going to come in pretty handy when he returns. Basically a cash out that will be starting hooker for the rest of the year and a decent 18th/19th man.

When's he due back? I might look at a straight swap for Watson to make upgrades elsewhere. Brailey/Verrills hooker combo seems good enough to me!
If you are trading out someone like Papenhuyzen for him, you also have to factor in that he has BE of around 100.BCT05 wrote:
