He has still been training with the team right? Could be an interesting POD for round 13

I have 19 green dots so trading before the first game kicks off feels a little unnecessary. Granted 4 of those green dots are Flegler, Walker, Roberts, and Simonsson.. still feels like at least two of those could score well enough to be worth holding a trade.

You reckon JFH is a good pick up?

I did look into him (I'm desperate for a quality MID to field 17 this week - having lost Gus & Lodge & sold Stefano last week).
My appraisal is that you're basically getting what you pay for with JFH - so it's alright but not exactly compelling.
His minutes are down on last year.
Most of the time he'll get approx 51 minutes at pretty much 1PPM - that makes him slightly over-priced to my mind.
My theory on both the Storm and Panthers is: (you may want to sit down for this)
They're both locked in for a top 4 spot.
And
Both their coaches are already thinking about September and about managing their rosters so key players are fresh and fit for finals football.
I think both of them will look at anything other then a premiership as being a failure this year (especially Penrith).
I guess it's wait and see with how much representation Penrith have in Origin, but their reserve grade team hasn't lost a game.
They've got Eisenhuth who can play big minutes and good up comers like Leniu too.
My guess is that JFH just maintains his minutes across this period - maybe a slight boost, but I'd say a 50 average is probably a fair expectation, 55 is probably bonus territory.
He's priced at about a 57 average - on the back of two recent tries (given that he scored a grand total of 2 tries in the three years between 2018-2020 - I'd probably not expect many more).
TLDR: IMO he's close to a peak price, not an elite MID, and there's some potential low scores in the back end of the season as Penrith start managing their key players
If he comes in around 600k he's a bargainmultiple.scoregasms wrote:
Wonder what price he comes in at. Capable of a 60+ average
